A six-disc box set containing all the recordings of the cult American band. The albums "Electric Prunes" and "Underground" from 1967 and "Mass In F Minor" from 1968 are included here in both stereo and mono versions (the third of them for the first time on CD as mono). The rest are "Release Of An Oath" from 1968 and "Just Good Old Rock And Roll" from 1969. The fifth CD contains single tracks and alternative versions of recordings, and the last disc is taken up by: the live "Stockholm 67" (45 minutes from 14 December 1967, from the archives of Swedish radio, with very good sound quality and superb playing by the band) and four demo tracks. The whole thing in a rigid box, with a booklet containing an extensive history of the band by Gray Newell, including detailed recollections of the original vocalist James Lowe and a key member of the band's later incarnation, Richard Whetstone. A MUST! (MU) -
ELECTRIC SUN (see also: Scorpions) - ELECTRIC SUN - Earthquake +2 - GER Alpha Experium Remastered Expanded Card Sleeve Editionprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR

END (see also: Tucky Buzzard) - END - Introspection +2 - JAP Remastered Expanded Limited Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A wonderful record! One of the most important achievements of British psychedelia. The album was made in the spring of 1968 and belongs to the same league as the similarly moody records by The Zombies ("Odessey And Oracle") and Tomorrow. Afterwards the band transformed into Tucky Buzzard. A must! Two bonus tracks in the form of mono single versions. A Japanese, limited edition from the Decca label, from 2021. (JL) -

A must! -
EYES OF BLUE (see also: Big Sleep / Ancient Grease) - EYES OF BLUE - Crossroads Of Time +3 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
At last as a single CD and with excellent sound! Eyes Of Blue were protégés of Graham Bond (who lent them two tracks for the debut) and at the same time a cult, though still heavily underrated, British band rooted in the style of the late 60s, combining elements of late psychedelia and early prog rock (including references to classical music) - something in the style of a more 'grubby' Procol Harum of the first two albums. Hammonds, mellotron, overdriven guitars and the great vocal of Gary Pickford-Hopkins - later known from Wild Turkey. This is a real treat for lovers of playing in the vein of Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Velvett Fogg, Pesky Gee, the Man debut, the 'second' by Plastic Penny, and so on. In addition three tracks from earlier, rhythm'n'blues singles in the style of The Artwoods and The Action are included. A MUST! (JL) -
EYES OF BLUE (see also: Big Sleep / Ancient Grease) - EYES OF BLUE - In Fields Of Ardath +2 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The first time on CD in its full version, together with the excellent track "Apache 69" (which closes the vinyl version - for some reason never released on CD until now) - taken from The Shadows' repertoire! The Britons' second album brought them somewhat closer to the progressive stream - especially in two tracks lasting 9 and 7 minutes respectively. In 1970 the musicians changed their name to Big Sleep and under that banner, in 1970, recorded a single released only in Spain with a new version of "Largo" (an adaptation of Handel's piece from the debut), and that very version has been added to this edition! In addition, the CD has been expanded with the B-side of the American single, featuring the excellent track "Q III". In 1970 the Big Sleep musicians took part in the recording of an album by Ancient Grease, and in 1971 the great, though demanding several listens, LP "Bluebell Wood" saw the light of day. After the split the individual musicians went on to join, among others, Wild Turkey, Gentle Giant and Man. A MUST! -
FALLEN ANGELS - FALLEN ANGELS - It's A Long Way Down - KOR Big Pink Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 125,00 PLN / 31,25 EUR
The excellent second album by the band - much more psychedelic than the debut and without a doubt an absolute psychedelic classic! 2023 Korean edition, in a paper sleeve. Highly recommended! (JL) -
FAMILY - FAMILY - Music In A Doll's House - US Digipack Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the best debuts in the history of British rock! A combination of the style of early Traffic, The Moody Blues and Jethro Tull - with a good dose of rock madness! Sensational! -
FANKHAUSER, MERRELL (see also: Mu) - MERRELL FANKHAUSER - Goin' Round My Mind - Merrell Fankhauser Anthology 1964-1979 (6CD BOX) - UK Grapefruit Edition - LISTENprice: 220,00 PLN / 55,00 EUR
A six-disc anthology of the career of the Los Angeles-based Merrell Fankhauser, described by one of the experts as "a cult artist's cult artist". It covers his solo work and that with the bands The Exiles, Fapardokly, H.M.S. Bounty and Mu. The set includes the discs: Merrell & The Exiles "Early Years" (1964-1967), Fapardokly "Fapardokly" (1968), Merrell Fankhauser & H.M.S. Bounty "Things!" (1968), Mu "Mu" (1971) and "Last Album" (recorded in 1974 and released in 1982) and the solo "Maui Album" (1976) together with unreleased and single tracks from 1975-1979. 36-page booklet inside. -
FAT MATTRESS (see also: Jimi Hendrix) - FAT MATTRESS - Fat Mattress +8 - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Remastered British edition, expanded with eight extra tracks, of the first album by a psych-progressive group formed by Noel Redding (then bassist of the Jimi Hendrix Experience), with Jim Leverton (Caravan) on bass. Really nice, varied and slightly 'smoky' playing, somewhat reminiscent of early Family and Traffic. In fact, flautist Chris Wood appeared as a guest on this great and, all in all, underrated album! Highly recommended! -
FELT - FELT - Felt - EU Once Again Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited, European edition of the only album by this American band, the absolute peak of guitar-driven and practically psych-progressive, at times strongly improvised playing with slightly bluesy influences. All the compositions truly stick in the ear, and their interpretation (for an unknown band of teenagers from the deep provinces) arouses genuine admiration! It is not hard to understand that the original vinyl fetches prices exceeding 1500 dollars! Excellent sound and a faithfully reproduced vinyl sleeve! An absolute must! (JL) -
FEVER TREE - FEVER TREE - San Francisco Girls +5 - US Gear Fab Expanded Card Sleeve Edition - LAST COPYprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
American edition, expanded with five unreleased tracks (in a changed cover), of the debut album by a great, psychedelic, slightly Doors-like formation known for the hit "San Francisco Girls". Highly recommended! (JL) -
FIRE (UK) (see also: Strawbs / Paul Brett's Sage) - FIRE - Father's Name Is Dad - Complete Fire (3CD) - UK Grapefruit Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 115,00 PLN / 28,75 EUR
A three-disc set containing, remastered, all the recordings of the cult British band, playing eclectic, partly psych, partly early-progressive music with the addition of acoustic sounds - based on the intense guitar parts of Dave Lambert (later Strawbs). -
FIVE DAY WEEK STRAW PEOPLE (see also: Andromeda) - FIVE DAY WEEK STRAW PEOPLE - Five Day Week Straw People - EU Morgan Blue Town Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
An excellent album performed by the early Andromeda - under a pseudonym! It was recorded at the end of 1967, but the characteristic guitar sound and vocals of John Cann could already be clearly heard, as well as the characteristic backing vocals known from the Andromeda LP. The drums, however, sounded as befitted the end of the 60s - like on the first Breakout LP... A 2018 edition, accompanying the vinyl reissue for Record Store Day. A must! -
FLEUR DE LYS (see also: King Crimson / Gordon Haskell) - FLEUR DE LYS - Circles - Ultimate Fleur De Lys - UK Edition - LISTENprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
A compilation of recordings by a legendary, freakbeat/psychedelic British band harking back to the style of The Who, Creation, Cream, and even Procol Harum. Besides several singles released under the band's name the CD also contains tracks recorded under other names (Rupert's People, Chocolate Frog, Shyster), as well as two superb recordings with the vocalist Sharon Tandy. The group's bassist and occasional vocalist was Gordon Haskell. Two of the band's tracks ("Circles" and "Mud In Your Eye") appeared on the phenomenal box set "Nuggets Vol. 2" (Rhino). This is top-shelf playing! Highly recommended! ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
FOOD - FOOD - Forever Is A Dream - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A fantastic album - without a doubt top five of American psychedelic rock! For me it is a consummate pop-psych-rock masterpiece - full of charming, richly but very tastefully arranged melodies, nice overdriven guitar parts, dreamy vocals, and of course the ubiquitous psychedelic aura. A combination of the style of The Beatles, late The Zombies and their Capitol Records label-mates Gandalf. Once released in a small run and sold without any promotion, the vinyl is sometimes worth several hundred dollars today - quite deservedly! This version has an uncropped cover and sounds incomparably cleaner and better than the British Fall Out edition from 10 years ago. This is a wonderful and superbly produced record! An absolute must! -
FORD THEATRE - FORD THEATRE - Time Changes - SWE Flawed Gems - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! Released in 1969, the second (concept) album by an excellent American psychedelic group better known for the debut LP Trilogy For The Massess (1968), full of instrumental improvisations. Characterised by intriguing melodies and rich arrangements, the second record was somewhat different, gentler and catchier - resembling the recordings of The Beatles, The Byrds, Love and the Zombies of the time. It is a pop-psychedelic masterpiece! The whole thing was composed in the form of a 37-minute musical - without any dialogue, of course... A superbly produced and very clean-sounding album that tastes exquisite after 2-3 listens. Highly recommended! -
FORD THEATRE - FORD THEATRE - Trilogy For The Masses - US Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A superb album - one of the best psychedelic achievements from the States!!! The debut of this American band is genuinely captivating playing based on the interplay of nice, clean vocals, Hammond organ, guitar and a restless rhythm section. This almost progressive record takes the form of a long suite, divided into several parts, full of instrumental, slightly psychedelic but ultimately concise improvisations. At times it brings to mind the work of The Doors, the debut of Aorta, and even very early Deep Purple. Highly recommended! -
FREEBORNE - FREEBORNE - Peak Impressions +3 - US Expanded Digipack - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Reissue of the only album, released in 1968, by a forgotten American band - containing plenty of superb, experimental, quite melodic playing (adorned with all sorts of sound effects) in the vein of very early Pink Floyd, as well as Gandalf, Pussy and Group 1850. Additionally three tracks from singles! Highly recommended! -
FRIJID PINK - FRIJID PINK - Frijid Pink +2 - GER Repertoire Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
Excellent debut by an American formation from Detroit, characterised by the sound of heavily overdriven guitar, powerful drumming and occasional Hammond organ parts. The CD includes, among others, an excellent (and once quite a success) and very intense cover of the classic "House Of The Rising Sun" (sensational!), as well as plenty of thrilling material in the vein of The Amboy Dukes, MC5 and very early Led Zeppelin. German Repertoire edition in a traditional jewel case, with two bonus tracks. (JL) -
FRIJID PINK - FRIJID PINK - Deram Recordings 1970-1971 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A double compilation containing the albums released by the Deram label ("Frijid Pink" and "Defrosted" - both from 1970) and single tracks from 1970-1971. The debut by the American band from Detroit was characterised by the sound of overdriven guitar, powerful drumming and occasional Hammond organ parts. It contains, among others, an excellent (and at the time quite a hit) and very intense cover of the classic "House Of The Rising Sun" (a revelation!), as well as plenty of thrilling material in the vein of The Amboy Dukes, MC5 and very early Led Zeppelin. "Defrosted" is somewhat more hard rock (though less feisty than the debut), contains slightly longer tracks and was recorded without organ. A must! (JL) -
FUNKADELIC (see also: Parliament) - FUNKADELIC - Live - Meadowbrook, Rochester, Michigan - 12th September 1971 - EU Westbound Editionprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
An album released in 1996, containing a recording of the concert of 12 September 1971. -
GANDALF - GANDALF - Gandalf +2 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered reissue, expanded with two period tracks, of an American soft-psychedelic classic worth over 700 dollars on original vinyl! Oh, how I adore this record! Top ten of American psych rock! Every track is wonderful, though they are only melodic, almost pop songs served in a dreamy, psychedelic sauce. But the effect is stunning! It is hardly surprising that the album has cult status and a very wide circle of sworn fans. The album was recorded in 1968, but Capitol did not release it until the beginning of 1969 - when the band no longer existed! The record sounds wonderful - dynamic and without any hiss - it beats the previous reissues, including the American Sundazed, hands down! The record is also available on vinyl (without bonus tracks). A must! (JL) -
GHOST (see also: Velvett Fogg) - GHOST - When You're Dead-One Second - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in January 1970, a superb, though rather forgotten album combining elements of psychedelia, folk and early prog-rock. Female and male vocals; the raw sound of the guitarist from Velvett Fogg; archaic-sounding organ; charming melodies; a dark, gloomy mood - what a perfect start to the 70s and at the same time one of my beloved British albums - requiring a few listens, however! Highly recommended!
