FOOD - Forever Is A Dream - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A fantastic album - without a doubt top five of American psychedelic rock! For me it is a consummate pop-psych-rock masterpiece - full of charming, richly but very tastefully arranged melodies, nice overdriven guitar parts, dreamy vocals, and of course the ubiquitous psychedelic aura. A combination of the style of The Beatles, late The Zombies and their Capitol Records label-mates Gandalf. Once released in a small run and sold without any promotion, the vinyl is sometimes worth several hundred dollars today - quite deservedly! This version has an uncropped cover and sounds incomparably cleaner and better than the British Fall Out edition from 10 years ago. This is a wonderful and superbly produced record! An absolute must!
