FRIJID PINK - Frijid Pink +2 - GER Repertoire Expanded Edition - LISTEN

Excellent debut by an American formation from Detroit, characterised by the sound of heavily overdriven guitar, powerful drumming and occasional Hammond organ parts. The CD includes, among others, an excellent (and once quite a success) and very intense cover of the classic "House Of The Rising Sun" (sensational!), as well as plenty of thrilling material in the vein of The Amboy Dukes, MC5 and very early Led Zeppelin. German Repertoire edition in a traditional jewel case, with two bonus tracks. (JL)
