The album "Eli" is the result of a collaboration between two musicians: Jan Akkerman and Kaz Lux. Akkerman – a Dutch guitarist and composer, considered one of the most important musicians in the history of Dutch rock – gained fame in the 70s as a co-founder of the band Focus. Kaz Lux, a Dutchman of Polish origin, became famous as the charismatic frontman of the progressive band Brainbox, and later as a soloist with an expressive, vivid voice. Musically "Eli" (1976) combines progressive rock with elements of jazz, at times also brushing against soul. The whole is varied – alongside calmer, more atmospheric passages there are extended forms with rich, polished arrangements and a clearly marked role for the guitar. Only one copy. New, sealed. -

The album documents two different but stylistically related faces of the band's activity and The Gregg Allman Band. The first part contains material from the MTV Unplugged performance from 1990, presenting acoustic interpretations of the band's classic songs. The second part is a recording of a Gregg Allman Band concert from 1987. The sound in the "Unplugged" part has been reduced to acoustic guitars, piano and a subtle rhythm section, which highlights the melodic layer and Gregg Allman's characteristic vocal. The recordings from 1987 present a more traditional, electric approach, based on a blues-rock formula and extended instrumental parts. Elements of improvisation are present, typical of the band's style, although the whole is kept in a more compact form than in the group's classic, long jams of the 70s. A 2017 reissue. Only one copy! The two-disc 2000 reissue collects the band's three studio albums: "The Alpha Band" (1976), "Spark in the Dark" (1977) and "The Statue Makers of Hollywood" (1977), showing its fairly consistent approach to songs based on the American tradition – with a distinct contribution from acoustic guitar, piano and sparing rhythm section arrangements. The sound relies on clearly led vocal lines and short, self-contained forms, rarely exceeding a few minutes. The compositions combine elements of folk rock and country with light touches of gospel and soul, but without extended structures – the emphasis is placed on melody and lyrics. The instrumental parts have a complementary function: there are short guitar inserts, occasional use of violin (Mansfield) and subtle keyboards, which reinforce but do not dominate the narrative. "Disaster (Lüüd Noma)" from 1971 is one of Amon Düül's most raw and radical achievements. The music is largely improvised in character – the pieces develop freely, without clearly outlined themes, relying on repetition, texture and a gradual build-up of tension. The sound is raw, at times even primitive, with a dominant role for drums, percussion instruments and chaotically played guitar and keyboard parts. The recordings balance on the border between music and sonic experiment – there are trance-like and psychedelic elements, as well as influences of ethnic music and free jazz. The whole gives the impression of being more a record of the creative process than a classically constructed album. A 1996 reissue, only one copy, new, sealed. -

Ana y Jaime is a group from Colombia that combines the simplicity of folk expression with the sound of the late 60s, when psychedelia and rock were beginning to seep into the music of Latin America. The record, made in 1970, presents music that is sparing in means but very distinctive. The basis is acoustic and electric guitars, often played rhythmically, with a light, pulsating backing. Above this appear vocals – calm, somewhat raw, delivered without an excess of ornament. In some tracks organ and subtle arrangements come in, which give the whole a more psychedelic shade. The individual recordings have different characters: from more committed, almost protest songs, to lighter, more melodic forms. The title track "Es largo el camino" stands out with a distinct, lightly overdriven guitar sound and an energy that brings the whole closer to garage rock. A 2005 edition. Only one copy! The sound combines elements of progressive rock and jazz fusion, but the whole is lighter, more spacious and less monumental than the originals. "Tre" is Archimedes Badkar's third record, from 1977, on which the band develops its characteristic combination of jazz, rock and non-European influences. An extended percussion section and instruments referencing the music of the Middle East and Asia are clearly audible – which gives the whole a pulsating, in places trance-like character. The whole has a distinctly cinematic character, and the futuristic theme underlines the "cosmic" feel of the music.
