§ 2 Types of Cookies used

  1. The Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User's Device. In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to reach Users' Devices in this way. These files make it possible to identify the software used by the User and to tailor the Website to each individual User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain they come from, how long they are stored on the Device, and an assigned value.
  2. The Administrator uses two types of cookies:
    a) Session cookies: these are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the browser session ends. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from the User's Device.
    b) Persistent cookies: these are stored on the User's Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending the browser session or switching off the Device does not remove them from the User's Device. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from the User's Device.
  3. The User can restrict or disable cookie access to their Device. If this option is used, it will still be possible to use the Website, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.

§ 3 Purposes for which Cookies are used

  1. The Administrator uses its own Cookies for the correct configuration of the website, in particular to:
    a) tailor the content of the Website's pages to the User's preferences and optimise the use of the Website's pages.
    b) recognise the Website User's device and its location and display the website accordingly, tailored to their individual needs;
    c) remember the settings selected by the User and personalise the User interface, e.g. with regard to the selected language or the region the User comes from,
    d) remember the history of pages visited on the website in order to recommend content,
    e) font size, website appearance, etc.
  2. The Administrator uses its own Cookies to authenticate the user on the website and maintain the user's session on the website, in particular to:

    b) correctly configure selected functions of the Website, in particular enabling verification of the authenticity of the browser session.
    c) optimise and increase the efficiency of the services provided by the Administrator.
  3. The Administrator uses its own Cookies to carry out processes necessary for the full functionality of the websites, in particular to:
    a) tailor the content of the Website's pages to the User's preferences and optimise the use of the Website's pages. In particular, these files make it possible to recognise the basic parameters of the User's Device and display the website accordingly, tailored to their individual needs;
  4. The Administrator uses its own Cookies to remember the user's location, in particular for the correct configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling the information provided to the User to be tailored to their location.
  5. The Administrator uses its own Cookies for analysis, research and audience auditing, in particular to create anonymous statistics that help understand how Website Users use the Website's pages, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content.
  6. The Administrator uses third-party Google Analytics cookies to compile anonymous visitor statistics (third-party cookie administrator: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, USA). Google Analytics is only started after the User gives consent in the banner shown on the website. We remember this decision for 12 months in our own cookie (zgoda_cookies), and consent can be withdrawn at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
  7. On pages with forms (registration, contact form) the Administrator uses the Google reCAPTCHA service, which protects the forms against spam and abuse and may store third-party cookies for this purpose (third-party cookie administrator: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland). Details: Google cookie policy.

The User may change the settings referred to in the previous sentence using the web browser settings or the service configuration. These settings may be changed in particular so as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to give notice each time Cookies are placed on the User's device.
