ASH RA TEMPEL (see also: Tangerine Dream) - ASH RA TEMPEL - Schwingungen - GER MG+ART Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
The second album, from 1972, by the legendary German krautrock band - as successful as the debut! The first part contains sharp, Floyd-and-Hendrix-like, improvised playing; while the second is delicate, almost minimalist keyboard landscapes - that was the rule on the 1st, 2nd and 4th albums of the band. A German reissue made by the band's leader, released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the record. -

ATLANTIDE - ATLANTIDE - Francesco Ti Ricordi - EU Once Again Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A limited European reissue, awaited on CD for over 20 years, of the only album, from 1976, by an Italian hard-progressive band playing in the style of classic Deep Purple, the debut of Jane, Satin Whale and early Beggars Opera. The album contains seven tracks sung in Italian (though there are few vocals), lasting from 5 to 11 minutes and built on the interplay of organ and pleasantly overdriven guitar. The whole thing sounds decidedly more like 1974 than 1976. This competently arranged album, full of catchy compositions, will delight all fans of the genre! The band consisted of... four brothers, and the whole thing was created in Germany, where the Sanseverino family lived. This powerful album came out as a private pressing limited to 500 copies and today is worth around 500 euros! A must! (JL) -

LP
AUNT MARY - AUNT MARY - Janus - EU Sun King Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A new, European reissue of the third album, released in 1973 by Vertigo, by an excellent Norwegian band, once in the absolute top ranks of progressive rock from Scandinavia. It was a logical development of the second album in their discography, the brilliant LP "Loaded", although it was a somewhat gentler work, with plenty of Hammonds, a solid rhythm section and original melodies. The last ten minutes are progressive mastery of the world! The original Norwegian vinyl in perfect condition costs 800 euros, so it is probably worth investing 3% of that amount in an almost identical-looking, attractive edition in a gatefold sleeve and with great sound. A must! (JL) Condition: New, sealed. -
CD
AVE ROCK - AVE ROCK - Ave Rock - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A revelation! Released in Argentina in 1974 by the small Promusica label, this truly excellent debut album by a progressive Argentinian band (worth 500 euros on vinyl in mint condition) featured the classically tinged sound of the Hammond organ and juicy, rather heavy parts for TWO guitars in the foreground. This is world-class playing (in the European manner) - a bit like Deep Purple mixed with Beggars Opera and Focus, and with early Wishbone Ash! At times it is hard to believe how good this music is! In my opinion it is one of the three best progressive albums from South America! A MUST! (JL) -

AVENGER (UK) (see also: Blitzkrieg / Satan) - AVENGER - Steel On Steel Complete Avenger Recordings (3CD BOX) - UK Dissonance Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Avenger was founded by former members of the band Blitzkrieg. In 1982 their first demo track, "Hot 'N' Heavy Express", ended up on Neat Records' compilation "One Take No Dubs (Live In The Studio)". A year later, through the same label, the debut single "Too Wild To Tame" was released. Shortly after, the vocalist Brian Ross left for the band Satan, while Ian Swift went the other way and with him in the line-up Avenger released their debut LP, "Blood Sports", in 1984. The second album, "Killer Elite", came out a year later, and the band went on a tour of the USA. Unfortunately, right after it Avenger broke up. Ian Swift joined Atomkraft, and the drummer Gary Young joined the meanwhile reactivated Blitzkrieg. The band's music is classic, heavy, British hammering with occasional accelerations. CD1 is the debut album "Blood Sports" from 1984, CD2 - its successor "Killer Elite" from 1985, and CD3 contains tracks from the concert on 3 March 1986, at the L'Amour club in Brooklyn. Bonus tracks are added to both studio records. Highly recommended! -
CD
AZTECS - AZTECS - Live - Aztec Music Remastered Edition +7 - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Released in 1971, a live album by a great, hard-blues-progressive Australian band based on the sound of guitars and heavy Hammonds. Bonus tracks: single recordings for the Havoc label and a live "Long Live Rock ’N Roll" from the Rosebud Outdoor Festival from 1972. Highly recommended! -

BAKER, GINGER (see also: Cream/Blind Faith/Traffic) - GINGER BAKER'S AIR FORCE - What A Day (Beat Club 1970) (CD+DVD) - GER MIG Card Sleeve Editionprice: 125,00 PLN / 31,25 EUR
A CD and a DVD documenting a 1970 performance, from the cult programme Beat-Club (in colour), of an excellent band (supergroup) led by the drummer of Cream and Blind Faith. Recorded live in the studio (with a line-up including Graham Bond), excellent, richly arranged, extended, slightly psychedelic and above all swinging jazz-progressive tracks. An absolute must for every fan of classic playing! (JL) -

BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST - BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST - Baby James Harvest (4CD+ BLU-RAY BOX) - UK Esoteric Remixed Remastered Expanded Deluxe Editionprice: 240,00 PLN / 60,00 EUR
The fourth album in the career of the classics of British prog rock - theoretically weaker than the earlier titles, but most bands would give anything to be able to record something so good! 2023 deluxe edition, containing the remastered stereo version with nine bonus tracks (CD1), a new stereo mix + six bonus tracks (CD2) and a recording of a performance for BBC Radio One "In Concert" from 16 November 1972 (previously released as "...BBC In Concert 1972") in mono (CD3) and stereo (CD4). The Blu-ray, meanwhile, has the album (+ six bonus tracks) in Hi Resolution 5.1 Mix/New Stereo Mix/Original Stereo Mix (96Khz/24 Bit) and a promotional video from 1973. The whole thing comes in a rigid box, with a poster, a sticker and a 68-page booklet inside. Highly recommended! (JL) -

BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Unreleased British Radio Sessions 1962-1965 (2CD) - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
This two-disc CD could easily be called "Live At The BBC Vol. 3". The limited discs, released in a stunning sleeve and lasting two hours (minus two minutes), collect 53 recordings - including versions previously unreleased on the official "Live At The BBC" (1994) and "On Air - Live At The BBC Vol. 2" (2013). The discs also contain tracks omitted on earlier Apple releases: "I Call Your Name", "I Should Have Known Better" and "The Night Before". In addition you can hear six recordings (in very average quality, but it's something...) performed live for BBC radio, in Manchester in 1962 - still with Pete Best (including "Dream Baby", "A Picture Of You", "Memphis Tennessee" and "Besame Mucho")! Generally the vast majority of the recordings are in perfect or very good sound quality! As far as I know, all the recordings have been corrected for tape speed, carefully denoised and improved as far as possible compared with the versions circulating among fans. I have listened to this record about twenty times and still can't get enough! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - First U.S. Visit, February 1964 - FRA Verne MONO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A beautifully made, excellent-sounding black vinyl from Vernephone lasting almost 60 minutes, collecting in full the legendary 35-minute concert from the Washington Coliseum on 11 February 1964 (the first in the USA) and a 25-minute compilation of three performances (including two in full) from the famous "Ed Sullivan Show", also from February 1964. The whole thing sounds excellent and is an outstanding complement to the band's first two albums. An excerpt from the second performance on the "Ed Sullivan Show" of 16 February can be found on The Beatles' "On Television 1963-1966" 2LP released by the same label. The whole thing is decorated with a superb, laminated sleeve with a charming and so fitting photo. A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Live In Tokyo, 30 June - 1 July 1966 - FRA Verne MONO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A beautifully made, very good-sounding (FOR THE FIRST TIME at the CORRECT, FASTER SPEED!!!) black vinyl from Vernephone lasting 60 minutes, collecting, presented here in full, both (!) full performances by the band given in Tokyo on 30 June and 1 July 1966. The concerts were filmed by Japanese TV and thanks to this they are the only performances from the 1966 tour in very good sound quality! Generally the Tokyo performances did not enjoy any particular esteem among fans - mainly because they were played back from the television tape - too slowly! Now it is much better and they finally sound in the right keys! That is very important! So, now you can confidently take all the earlier editions of "Live In Tokyo/Japan 1966" off the shelf... The whole thing decorated with a superb, 60s-styled, laminated sleeve with a great photo. A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - The 'Sgt. Pepper' Recording Sessions (December 1966 - April 1967) (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A revelation! This limited, two-record album lasting nearly 120 minutes contains 37 recordings made between December 1966 and April 1967 during the recording sessions for the legendary 'Sgt. Pepper'. 40 minutes appeared earlier on the second LP of the official, long unavailable, two-record vinyl 2017 reissue; several recordings appeared on Anthology 2 (1995) and as many as 60 minutes, never released in analogue form, came from the CD box set! A real treat for fans! A beautiful sleeve and excellent vinyl quality! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
CD
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Live At The Star-Club, Hamburg, December 1962 - EU Sweet Leaf Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
An album lasting nearly 80 minutes, splendid and priceless from the historical point of view, containing a unique performance by The Beatles (with Ringo Starr on drums) recorded at the legendary Hamburg club in the last week of December 1962. With the EMI-released single "Love Me Do" already to their name, the band had to play/work off performances contracted long before, and it is a musical delight for every fan of the Fab Four! Besides several tracks known even from the LP "Please Please Me", recorded a month later, the group performed a good many pop and rock and roll standards. The sound quality is very good (slightly better than on the original discs, first released in 1977), though not perfect, but everything can be heard excellently! The CD contains the unreleased, almost manic "My Girl Is Red Hot", as well as (as a bonus) "Money" performed by King Size Taylor And The Dominoes, the group accompanying the Beatles. The record will probably never be officially released, because, as a result of years of action by The Beatles, a court ruling withdrew it from the music market. A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
LP
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Live On Television 1963-1966 (2LP) - FRA Verne MONO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
This two-record album, lasting nearly 120 minutes, contains live recordings (usually in the studio) made for television programmes that have not been released on official records (including "Anthology" 1 and 2). Most of these tracks are Beatles classics, such as "Ed Sullivan Show", "Around The Beatles", "Blackpool Nights Out" or both appearances from the "NME Pollwinners Concerts" series, from 1964 and 1965. This great-sounding, 2-hour album gathers in one place all those 10-20 minute programmes that were ruthlessly released before on hastily prepared (as far as the sound is concerned) EPs or very short albums. The limited black vinyls, released in a stunning sleeve, contain 46 recordings in total - all in nearly perfect or very good sound quality! Not a single version COMES FROM CATALOGUE RECORDS, and now all these classic television programmes (partly known from the "Anthology" LP/CD) are available in full! As far as I know, all the tracks have been corrected for tape speed, carefully denoised and improved as far as possible compared with the versions circulating online. Excellent vinyl quality! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - The 'White Album' Recording Sessions (May - October 1968) (2LP) - FRA Verne STEREO Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
This limited, two-record album lasting nearly 120 minutes contains 36 recordings made in the summer/autumn of 1968 during the recording sessions for the legendary 'White Album'. Not one track appeared on the official four-record vinyl 2018 reissue (containing on 2LP the Esher demo recordings from May 1968) but only on the CD box set! A real treat for fans! A very nice sleeve and excellent vinyl quality! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
BEATLES, THE - BEATLES (JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE & RINGO) - The Beatles Album That Never Was (1970-1971) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, 56-minute black vinyl from Vernephone, released in France in a beautiful, laminated sleeve, collecting 15 recordings made between December 1969 and July 1971 (practically already after the break-up of The Beatles), and released on the solo albums (and singles) of John, Paul, George and Ringo! Probably every fan of the band has wondered more than once how to put together the perfect album that could have been the successor to "Let It Be" (and chronologically "Abbey Road")! In my opinion the Verne compilers managed it and included all the hits from 1970-1971 ("My Sweet Lord", "Imagine", "Another Day", "What Is Life", "Mother", "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "It Don't Come Easy"), but also classic, Beatles-like numbers, such as "Gimmie Some Truth", "How Do You Sleep?", "All Things Must Pass", "Monkberry Moon Delight" or "The Back Seat Of My Car". Decorated with a very nice sleeve, the album is something truly special, and of course an excellent complement to The Beatles' catalogue albums - especially for fussy listeners who value the solo achievements of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr less. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

BEATLES, THE - BEATLES - Unreleased British Radio Sessions 1962-1965 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR

The limited black vinyls from Vernephone, released in a stunning sleeve and lasting two hours (minus two minutes), collect 53 recordings - including versions exclusively not previously released on the official "Live At The BBC" (1994) and "On Air - Live At The BBC Vol. 2" (2013). The records also contain tracks omitted from earlier Apple releases: "I Call Your Name", "I Should Have Known Better" and "The Night Before". Besides this, you can hear six recordings (in very average quality, but still something...) made for BBC radio in Manchester in 1962, live - still with Pete Best (including "Dream Baby", "A Picture Of You", "Memphis Tennessee" and "Besame Mucho")! Generally the vast majority of the recordings are in perfect or very good sound quality! As far as I know, all the recordings have been corrected for tape speed, carefully denoised and improved as far as possible compared with the versions circulating among fans. I have listened to this record perhaps twenty times and still can't get enough! Excellent vinyl quality! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

BEDLAM (see also: Big Bertha / Rainbow / Procol Harum) - BEDLAM - Bedlam Anthology (6CD BOX) - UK Grapefruit Edition - LISTENprice: 220,00 PLN / 55,00 EUR
A six-disc set containing an anthology of the British hard rock band, led by the drummer Cozy Powell and the guitarist Dave Ball (later in Procol Harum). The first two CDs contain the band's only album, in a 2023 mix (+ two bonus tracks) and in the original. The next discs are a recording of a performance in London, on 22 October 1973 (with the addition of Powell's solo track "Dance With The Devil", recorded live on American television in 1974) and in Binghamton in New York State, in 1974. The fifth CD contains a performance by the band Big Bertha, that is the earlier incarnation of Bedlam (without the vocalist Frank Aiello), from 3 December 1970, from Hamburg. The last disc of the set contains demo tracks and singles from 1968-1970, on which all the band's instrumentalists played, that is Cozy Powell and the brothers Dave and Denny Ball. The whole thing in a rigid box, with a 28-page booklet inside. Highly recommended! (MU) -

BEE GEES - BEE GEES - Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits - Capitol Records Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A very cross-sectional set of recordings from 1966–1987, covering both the early BEE GEES hits and the biggest hits of the disco era, headed by "Stayin’ Alive", "Night Fever" and "How Deep Is Your Love". The chronological arrangement shows superbly the band's evolution – from pop psychedelia and characteristic vocal harmonies to sophisticated pop, soul and disco. -
LP
BEGGARS OPERA - BEGGARS OPERA - Time Machine - A Collection Of Rare Tracks (1971-1972) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
This unique, limited album of nearly an hour contains unreleased, unique 'live' recordings by the brilliant (on their first three albums) progressive Scottish band. The first side is filled with three extended classics of the band, recorded live in the studio (with Virginia Scott additionally on mellotron) for the legendary German programme "Beat-Club" (1971). It all sounds perfect - like recordings made by Vertigo, or better! In my opinion the version of "Time Machine" is even better (slightly heavier) than the one from the second album! For those 28 minutes alone you should own this splendid record. The second part is filled with a 30-minute fragment of a performance in Italy on 4 May 1972, recorded from the audience, that is an 8-minute "MacArthur Park" and a stunning, powerful, 20-minute cover of a classic by the psychedelic band Eire Apparent, "Yes I Need Someone". It sounds very good, you can't tear yourself away, though not as good as the tracks from German TV. The album is adorned with a very nice laminated sleeve containing several rare photos of this underrated band. A MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
CD
BIG BROTHER (feat. ERNIE JOSEPH) - BIG BROTHER - Confusion - EU Once Again Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
Released in 1970 in a strongly psychedelic sleeve, the only album by a great American band playing heavy, slightly bluesy guitar rock, inspired by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and in the vein of the first two Grand Funk albums, the debut of Bloodrock, or the records of the bands Josefus and Jamul. The original vinyl is worth 350-400 euros, so it is certainly worth investing in this CD! A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
