The only, truly cult album, recorded in 1976, by a Greek heavy-progressive band playing heavy, though at times fairly melodic, rock based on the strongly overdriven sound of the guitar (like Yugoslavia's Fire or Britain's Dark). Changing moods, rather broken rhythms, a nice, rather melodic (Greek) vocal. The original vinyl, released in a minimal run, is worth over 2000 euros and is considered the most collectable record from the country of Aphrodite's Child. A 2025 remastered edition. The album contains a real 'Best Of' from 1975-1979, with superb versions of "Sin City", "Walk Over You" and "Let There Be Rock"! In addition, four early versions of tracks from the LP "Highway To Hell" are included - in completely changed, professionally performed versions and in perfect sound quality! The whole of this 51-minute LP is in perfect, professional sound quality, and the band led by Bon Scott was in great form! A new, remastered, limited, European edition of the sensational second album, recorded in the summer of 1970 and released only in 1971, by a Danish progressive band referencing here the style of the then work of Procol Harum, Van Der Graaf Generator, Beggar's Opera and even Uriah Heep in their most progressive, early guise. Unlike the debut, containing two long, 20-minute suites, this record consisted of somewhat shorter, 5-8 minute, though also fascinating compositions (making somewhat greater use of the guitar sound than before) - with the brilliant, dark 'Invasion' in the leading role. Both albums belong to the very top of European prog rock of the time! NOTE! The band's debut album came out simultaneously in the same edition. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

A new, remastered, limited European edition of the sensational debut, recorded in the summer of 1969 and released by Philips in February 1970, by a progressive Danish band referencing the style of the then most rock (with dominant electric guitar and Hammond organ) achievements of Procol Harum, Rare Bird, The Nice and late The Beatles. This record, full of dynamics, catchy melody and truly exquisite, contains only two extended suites (composed for a ballet) and it must be admitted that outside Britain nobody at the turn of 1969-1970 played this kind of music so professionally! It is one of my most favourite progressive records 'ever'! The album 'Green Man', released in 1971, was also excellent, but I value the debut a little more... Additionally 2 tracks from a single from 1970 are added to the disc - including 'Over The Fields', never released on CD, probably the heaviest in the band's career! The sound is slightly better than on earlier editions and simply beats hands down the dull and lifeless versions from YouTube! In addition the CD contains several rare photos of the band. Released by the German branch of Vertigo in 1972, Agitation Free's debut is without doubt one of the most interesting records of the krautrock strand, inspired by the band's journey to the Middle East. The oriental influences are not merely an addition, but one of the key elements of the sound, although it is not a literal imitation of the music of the East, but rather an interpretation of it within krautrock. A big role is played here by guitars, electronics and subtle sound effects. There are no distinct choruses or traditional structure here – the music rather flows, changing mood and tempo. At times it is more rhythmic, at others strongly subdued. A MUST! -

A new, limited edition of one of the best records in this shop and at the same time the quintessence of ambitious, yet melodic playing from the late 60s! Released in summer 1969, Andwella's debut and truly cult album (the next two titles were already made under the shortened name) is a stunning combination of psychedelic style in the vein of early Procol Harum, the first two records by Family and Traffic and more than a pinch of late The Beatles from the "Abbey Road" period. The original record, lasting nearly 50 minutes (in perfect British CBS Records edition worth nearly... 2000 euros!!!), was filled with relatively short, but very substantial tracks lasting on average 4 minutes each. Plus two single tracks from 1969 and two tracks from 1970 are included. This is the best-sounding edition - better than the Sunbeam Records version. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL) -

Released in 1970 by RCA Victor, a truly excellent, slightly jazzy, progressive record that was reminiscent of the earliest recordings of East Of Eden, Colosseum, Blodwyn Pig, If and Quintessence. Complex arrangements, plenty of instrumental parts (saxophones, flute, and so on), catchy melodic themes, and finally the great, 25-minute suite filling the second side of the vinyl. This is a splendid German band which, for unknown reasons, has two "g"s instead of two "d"s in its name! So please do not confuse it with the British band with the album from 1975! The Germans' only record is a rather unique, heavy-progressive rock masterpiece based on the interplay of heavy, overdriven guitar, a powerful rhythm section, slightly Hendrix-like vocals and rather timid phrases on electric piano. The whole thing was inspired by recordings of Deep Purple, Spooky Tooth and Hendrix. In fact the band performed, among others, great versions of compositions by Spooky Tooth and the Jeff Beck Group. This record, released at the end of 1970, should satisfy most fans of early Grand Funk, Sir Lord Baltimore and the Australian Buffalo. After the break-up of Armaggedon guitarist Frank Diez played, among others, on the second Emergency album and on the debut of Atlantis. A must! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

FIRST TIME IN STEREO! A new, European reissue of a classic from the circle of British psychedelic rock from the end of 1967, ALWAYS RELEASED IN MONO AND NOW MIXED IN TRUE STEREO. It must be admitted that this album, released in December 1967, positively sparkled (like few others) with varied sounds and innovative sonic experiments. The record contains 12 ostensibly varied, but all in all similar to one another, recordings dominated by sharp, steady-rhythm tracks varied with all kinds of distortion and reverb. I have in mind, for instance, the very catchy 'I Think I’m Going Weird', kept in an almost apocalyptic (and lightly classical-leaning) mood; the splendid, electrifying and, for those times, positively heavy metal (although recorded with mellotron) 'Supernatural Fairy Tales' and the unreal and at the same time exemplarily psychedelic 'Room With The View'. The rest of the record did not stray far from them, as it was dominated either by typical psychedelia or by sharp, freakbeat playing. The four musicians of Art (Mike Harrison, Luther Grosvenor, Mike Kellie and Greg Ridley) soon afterwards began working with organist Gary Wright, changing the name to Spooky Tooth. But that's another story... TO DISTINGUISH THIS EDITION FROM THE USUAL MONO VERSIONS, THE PUBLISHER DECIDED TO SWAP THE COLOURS ON THE FRONT SLEEVE! A MUST! Condition: MINT (NEW, unsealed). (JL) -
