This two-record album, lasting nearly 120 minutes, contains live recordings (usually in the studio) made for television programmes that have not been released on official records (including "Anthology" 1 and 2). Most of these tracks are Beatles classics, such as "Ed Sullivan Show", "Around The Beatles", "Blackpool Nights Out" or both appearances from the "NME Pollwinners Concerts" series, from 1964 and 1965. This great-sounding, 2-hour album gathers in one place all those 10-20 minute programmes that were ruthlessly released before on hastily prepared (as far as the sound is concerned) EPs or very short albums. The limited black vinyls, released in a stunning sleeve, contain 46 recordings in total - all in nearly perfect or very good sound quality! Not a single version COMES FROM CATALOGUE RECORDS, and now all these classic television programmes (partly known from the "Anthology" LP/CD) are available in full! As far as I know, all the tracks have been corrected for tape speed, carefully denoised and improved as far as possible compared with the versions circulating online. Excellent vinyl quality!
