THUNDERMUG - THUNDERMUG - Thundermug Strikes - EU HIFLY Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in 1972, the debut album by this Canadian band is very energetic and generally genuinely heavy rock full of massive guitar riffs, juicy drumming, but also catchy, harmony-sung melodies. It is an example of a record on which the commercial aspect was combined in an almost ideal way with pure, grubby rock. I know what I am writing, because I have known the album for years and listened to it dozens of times. It is worth mentioning that Terry Brown worked on the record - producer of all of Rush's classic albums! Highly recommended! CONDITION: NEW -
THUNDERMUG - THUNDERMUG - Strikes (Canadian Album Version) - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! The debut album of this Canadian formation, released in 1972, is very energetic and generally genuinely heavy rock, full of massive guitar riffs, juicy drumming but also catchy melodies sung in harmony. This is an example of a record on which the commercial aspect is combined with grubby rock in an almost perfect way. I know what I am writing, because I have known the album for years and have listened to it dozens of times. In the States the LP "Strikes" came out a year later (on Epic Records), but it was a compilation of tracks from the first two LPs, whereas the Swedish CD contains the material from the original Canadian debut. It is worth mentioning that Terry Brown - producer of all the classic albums by Rush - worked on the record! Highly recommended! -
TIGER B. SMITH (see also: Second Life) - TIGER B. SMITH - Tiger Rock - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A German band, previously operating as Second Life. Veeery heavy, solid, hard rock sound with elements of blues, plenty of improvisation. A very nice record! 2024 edition, in a single, laminated sleeve, unsealed. Highly recommended! (JL) -
TIME (YU) - TIME - Time (1st Album +4) - ITA Eastern Time Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered and genuinely fantastic-sounding edition of the excellent debut album, released in 1972, by a Yugoslav, progressive formation. Today it is hard to believe, but in Yugoslavia, dominated by single releases, it was only the second LP (full-length record) of rock music released in that country! A few years earlier only the pop rock debut of Grupa 220 had had that honour. To tell the truth it is hard to define the music of Time, but one can probably risk a comparison with Traffic, Procol Harum, Focus, and even Atomic Rooster on sleeping pills. In addition two great live recordings lasting 23 minutes in total and two tracks from the brand new 1973 single are included. A MUST! -
TIME (YU) - Time - Time (1st Album) - Croatia Recordsprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
This is the debut album, from 1972, of the Yugoslav group Time – one of the most important progressive rock bands in the region. The sound is extended and ambitious – long compositions, changing tempos, Hammond organ parts and the expressive vocal of the band's leader, who was Dado Topić. Time were often compared to Western prog rock groups of the early 70s, such as Deep Purple or Blood, Sweat & Tears (although they retained their own, Balkan character). An anniversary edition, new and sealed. -
TINKERBELLS FAIRYDUST - TINKERBELLS FAIRYDUST - Tinkerbells Fairydust +9 - UK Grapefruit Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
On CD for the first time! The Holy Grail of British pop-psychedelia has finally seen the light of day! The problem is that in 1969 the album was pulled from production by Decca at the last minute, and as a result literally four copies of the record and sleeve were pressed - fetching prices of £2000 for an average condition copy! The single "Twenty Ten" appeared on the "Rubble" box set, while the next one, "In My Magic Garden", is known from the "British Psychedelic Trip" series. The album has plenty of really nice moments and a lot of covers, although of course it is not a record on the level of Andwella's Dream or Tomorrow. This very attractively presented CD has nine bonus tracks, taken from the band's earlier incarnations. All in all, highly recommended! -

TOAD - TOAD - Toad +7 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited, European edition of an absolute classic of heavy rock from the early 70s! Released in 1971, the debut album by a splendid Swiss-Italian band contained very heavy, at times bluesy rock inspired by the work of Hendrix and Cream, but following in the footsteps of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath (and Budgie - whom they certainly did not know). The whole was served up without any compromises, decisively and with plenty of improvised and truly stunning guitar parts by Vic Vergat. The album was recorded in the same studio as "Deep Purple In Rock"... Additionally 7 recordings are included - two from the debut single, and also 5 tracks recorded at the Swiss EMI studios back in 1970 - a few months before the recording of the debut album. Years later these recordings were released on the long-deleted CD/LP "B.U.F.O.". The second, somewhat more 'progressive' album 'Tomorrow Blue', released in 1972, was also excellent! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
TOE FAT (see also: Uriah Heep / Ken Hensley / Gods) - TOE FAT - Midnight Sun - BBC Sessions (June 1969-November 1970) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
This tasteful, limited vinyl contains, recorded between summer 1969 and autumn 1970, only on ultra-rare BBC radio promotional vinyls - genuinely fantastic material by a hard rock formation led initially by vocalist Cliff Bennett and guitarist Ken Hensley. The band also featured drummer Lee Kerslake (ex-The Gods - later for 35 years in Uriah Heep). Several tracks (covers) never appeared on the main records, while the rest are here in much better and heavier versions! To tell the truth, this is the kind of guitar playing (the excellent Alan Kendall - later for many years in the band... Bee Gees) that totally drops your jaw! On the 1970 recordings the band reaches the level of Led Zeppelin's best work! 50 minutes in perfect sound quality! This vinyl edition sounds even better than the CD - it has more bass. The black, heavy vinyl plays loud and without crackle! This is an absolute must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

Recorded between summer 1969 and autumn 1970, never released on CD (only on ultra-rare BBC radio promotional vinyls), genuinely fantastic material by a hard rock formation led initially by vocalist Cliff Bennett and guitarist Ken Hensley. Alongside 50 minutes from the BBC sessions (all in perfect quality) four bootleg, live recordings of rather poor quality (including two unknown compositions) are included and - attention - the debut single from 1967 (made by Polydor Records) by the group The Gods (Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake + a very young Mick Taylor), unreleased on CD - worth almost a thousand euros on vinyl! This is an absolute must! -
