TOMORROW'S GIFT (see also: Release Music Orchestra) - TOMORROW'S GIFT - Tomorrow's Gift +1 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered edition of the debut album, released in 1970 (and worth about 1000 euros in the original in perfect condition - even the reissue from the label Second Battle, from the 90s, is worth 100 euros), by a great German group playing a rather dark variety of progressive rock in the style of Frumpy, Jethro Tull, Out Of Focus, Orange Peel, Julian's Treatment or East Of Eden - with a female vocal. 63 minutes of sophisticated, yet catchy, juicy music with the use of wind instruments (sax, flute). In terms of the instrumental layer it is an impeccable record, though some people have a problem getting used to the voice of the vocalist, who is somewhat reminiscent of Inga Rumpf (of Frumpy). I happen to like that vocal, besides there is not much of it. A classic of German rock - tasting much better after two or three listens! The CD contains a bonus track from a rare German compilation from 1970. Highly recommended! -

TONGUE - TONGUE - Keep On Truckin' - US Gear Fab Edition - LAST COPYprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The CD bears the date 1969, although other sources (e.g. the book "Acid Archives") generally give 1972 as the year of release... Admittedly the only album by this American group sounds like 1969-1970, but I lean towards the later date. Either way, it is nice, rather hard rock playing with organ (and great guitar entries) and with the influences of American folk rock - somewhat reminiscent of a gentler Bloodrock with a pinch of Neil Young. The album is a little uneven, but certainly worth recommending! (JL) -

TONTON MACOUTE - TONTON MACOUTE - Tonton Macoute +3 - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, LIMITED edition of the only and truly wonderful album by the Brits, originally released in 1971 by RCA Neon. This is one of the best, forgotten titles when it comes to British progressive, slightly jazzy rock! A rich sound full of changes of mood, plenty of instrumental parts, convincing arrangements and distinct inspirations from the music of the East. The band's style can be compared to East Of Eden, Out Of Focus, Caravan and Jade Warrior. Additionally included are three unique and very nice recordings made for BBC radio in 1969-1970 under the banner Windmill, namely covers of compositions by The Beatles ('Rocky Racoon'), Cat Stevens ('Matthew And Son') and Colosseum ('Elegy'). Windmill recorded several singles and after the tragic death of their vocalist changed their name to Tonton Macoute. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: NEW, sealed. -

The band's style can be compared to East Of Eden, Caravan and Jade Warrior. A MUST! Condition: NEW, sealed. -

TOO MUCH (see also: Helpful Soul / Gedo) - TOO MUCH - Too Much - GER Black Rose Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Another great band from Japan! The album, released in 1971 by Japanese Atlantic, half resembles Blues Creation from the second album, that is, heavy, slightly bluesy playing full of attractive guitar riffs. The music is very clear, and the heavier moods are interwoven with calmer, at times even more art-rock passages (for example the 12-minute final track). The original vinyl costs nearly 2000 euros! Highly recommended! (JL) -

TORNADOS (see also: Heinz) - TORNADOS - Love And Fury - Holloway Road Sessions 1962-1966 - Joe Meek's Tea Chest Tapes (5CD) - UK Cherry Red Editionprice: 190,00 PLN / 47,50 EUR
Another compilation from the "Joe Meek's Tea Chest Tapes" series. From the publisher: "From 1962 to 1966 The Tornados were the mainstay of Joe Meek's production studio at 304 Holloway Road. Starting with the worldwide hit 'Telstar', the band's extraordinary musicality and Meek's inspiring production techniques made it possible to create excellent and innovative pop, which resulted in many hits." All the tracks have been restored and mastered, and the vast majority of them are released for the first time. Highly recommended! (MU) -

TOTAL ISSUE - TOTAL ISSUE - Total Issue +2 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! A fantastic only album, released in 1971 (by United Artists), by a French formation singing mainly in English and playing thoroughbred, slightly psychedelic, rather dark progressive rock in the style of somewhat softened output of Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator, Procol Harum and early Genesis - with a touch of ballad. Attention! The 'thin' sounds of a storm at the beginning of track five are not the fault of the remastering, but of the poor form of the effects specialist, as on the vinyl it sounds just as poor... It is a very good and fairly easy-to-get-into album - sounding more like 1969-70 than 1971. In addition two unreleased instrumental recordings from French television are included. Top five of French rock! A MUST! -

A compilation containing the first two albums ("World Circus" from 1987 and "Think This" from 1989) by a thrash metal band from New York. The band's music is technical thrash full of tempo changes and perfectly played, reminiscent somewhat of a combination of Megadeth with Anthrax. Highly recommended! (JL) -

TRACE (see also: Ekseption / Focus / Brainbox) - TRACE - Trace +12 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A great album! The debut of this Dutch supergroup (a keyboardist from Ekseption, a bassist from Cuby & The Blizzards and a drummer from Focus) belongs to the very canon of European progressive rock. The first track, running to as much as thirteen minutes, is a masterpiece of the art-rock world, resembling the best work of Focus, ELP, Refugee and Yes. I remember that years ago I simply could not tear myself away from this record! Additionally two tracks from the single and the first part of the third LP "White Ladies" (1976). A MUST! -
CD
TRACTOR (see also: Way We Live) - TRACTOR - Tractor +6 - UK Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
British, expanded edition with six bonuses. An English group playing dynamic, guitar rock combined with folk - all in all music that is hard to define. Plenty of guitar, improvised tracks interwoven with ballads. The same line-up had recorded the brilliant album "A Candle For Judith" a year earlier - still under the banner of The Way We Live. Highly recommended! (JL) -
CD
TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Gold (2CD) - EU Pressprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A very good, broad cross-section of Traffic's work from 1967–1974 – that is from the psychedelic rock of the late 60s to the more progressive and jazz-rock sound of the early 70s. -
LP
TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Heaven Is In Your Mind (Mr. Fantasy) - US Sundazed MONO Press - LAST COPYprice: 250,00 PLN / 62,50 EUR
Sundazed reissue of the debut album in its American and, what is more, monophonic version! Not only did the American release differ from the British edition (issued there under the title "Mr. Fantasy") in its cover, it also had a different track listing. "Heaven Is In Your Mind" contains, among others, single tracks such as "Paper Sun" and "Hole In My Shoe". A chunk of superb music - typical English pop-psychedelia combined with folk (that is, acoustic guitars) and guitar rock. Out of print 2009 edition, sealed. -
CD
TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Traffic (2nd Album) +5 - EU Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A very influential (like, say, the early albums of Procol Harum), but all in all underrated, early-progressive second album containing, among others, "Pearly Queen", "Feelin' Alright" and the brilliant "Cryin' To Be Heard". Plenty of nice bonuses and charming artwork - as in the 'Island Remasters' series. Highly recommended! (JL) -
CD
TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Mr. Fantasy +12 - EU Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A beautifully produced, remastered edition of the debut album from the end of 1967. A slab of superb music - typical English pop-psychedelia combined with folk (that is, acoustic guitars) and guitar rock. Mono and stereo mixes on 1 CD. The second part of the CD is filled by the American, mono LP "Heaven Is In Your Mind" (1968) containing, among others, single tracks such as "Paper Sun" and "Hole In My Shoe". A must! (JL) -
LP
TRAFFIC SOUND - TRAFFIC SOUND - Virgin - Munster Records Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A sensational album - probably the best psychedelic record from South America! On their second album (the earlier mini-album "A Bailar A Go-Go" from 1968 contained single tracks) the band combined in an exceptional way classic, slightly Doors-like and Floyd-like psychedelia - with the sounds of overdriven, Hendrix-like guitars, with folk-ballad atmospheres and with occasional flute or saxophone parts. The result was material that is very original, very intense and above all completely different from, say, European or American psychedelic rock! New, sealed. -
CD
TRAMLINE (see also: Juicy Lucy / Whitesnake) - TRAMLINE - Somewhere Down The Line - EU Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Now a classic (once released by Island), the debut album by a British band playing tasty and quite dynamic blues-rock, in the vein of the best work of Savoy Brown and Chicken Shack. The great guitar parts were played by Micky Moody - known, among other things, as Bernie Marsden's guitar partner in Whitesnake. Edition in a classic jewel case. Recommended! -

TRAMP (see also: Fleetwood Mac / John Dummer Band) - TRAMP - Tramp - UK Trading Places Press - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
The English blues band Tramp was a short-lived venture, active (with breaks) at the turn of the 60s and 70s. It was made up of: Dave Kelly (former guitarist/vocalist of the John Dummer Band) and his sister, the vocalist Jo Ann, as well as the former Savoy Brown keyboardist Bob Hall, while the whole was rounded out by members of Fleetwood Mac - Mick Fleetwood, Danny Kirwan and Bob Brunning. Released in 1969, their only album contained songs written by members of the group and is decidedly an essential item for all admirers of Fleetwood Mac and British blues. 2023 British reissue. (MU) -

TRAPEZE (see also: Deep Purple/Whitesnake/Judas Priest) - TRAPEZE - Medusa - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Another carefully prepared Ethelion reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. Released originally in December 1970, the second in the discography, the best-known and most appreciated album by the British hard-rock trio, playing in the line-up: Glenn Hughes (bass and vocals), the guitarist Mel Galley (years later in Whitesnake) and the drummer Dave Holland (later in Judas Priest). The band played heavily, rather slowly, but with flair, and the album itself, alongside Deep Purple's LP "Burn", remains the best item in Glenn Hughes's career. Highly recommended! Condition: NEW, sealed. -

TRAPEZE (see also: Deep Purple/Whitesnake/Judas Priest) - TRAPEZE - Midnight Flyers Complete Recordings Volume Two 1974-1981 (5CD BOX) - UK Purple Records Remastered Editionprice: 190,00 PLN 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
The second part of the collection of the band's studio and live albums, this time those recorded after Glenn Hughes left for Deep Purple. His vocal duties were taken over by the guitarist Mel Galley, and he and the drummer Dave Holland were joined by the bassist Pete Wright and the second guitarist Rob Kendrick. This line-up produced the studio albums "Hot Wire" from 1974 and "Trapeze" from 1975, on which Hughes sang as a guest on two tracks. On the next record, "Hold On" from 1979, Kendrick's place was taken by Pete Goalby (later in Uriah Heep), who in turn took over from Galley the role of lead vocalist. Terry Rowley also joined on keyboards. Right after the album's release, Dave Holland left for Judas Priest, and was replaced by Steve Bray. This line-up appears on CD5, which is a recording of concerts in Texas, in May 1981. The other two discs are also live albums: "Live At The Boat Club", from Nottingham, from 13 September 1975 (with the line-up: Galley, Kendrick, Wright, Holland, Rowley) and "Live At Arlington, Texas", from the Texas Hall Auditorium in Arlington, from 12 September 1976, when the band returned with the line-up: Hughes, Galley, Holland.
