COLOSSEUM II (see also: Gary Moore / Rainbow) - COLOSSEUM II - Strange New Flesh + BBC Studio Session (1975-1976) (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Editionprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
Double, remastered edition of the first album by the second incarnation of the band - with Jon Hiseman on drums, Gary Moore on guitar and Don Airey on keyboards. The original LP, released by the label Bronze in 1976, contained six extended, jazz-rock compositions harking back indirectly to the style of the old Colosseum, though decidedly closer to the recordings of the then much admired Mahavishnu Orchestra. In addition, recordings from the band's studio sessions made in 1975 (disc 1) and in 1976 (disc 2) are included. Recommended! (JL) -
COS - COS - Viva Boma +4 - FRA Musea Expanded Editionprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
The second album by a Belgian band referencing the style of Soft Machine, Magma and Univers Zero. Fans of Canterbury sounds and Recommended Records will be delighted! -
COSMIC DEALER (see also: Zipps) - COSMIC DEALER - Crystallization +5 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
Released in 1971, the legendary, only album by a Dutch band combining at times heavyish progressive rock with psychedelia and which may bring to mind the Pretty Things' LP "Parachute" (1970), underrated in Poland, as well as the early recordings of Focus and Jethro Tull. As an original on the Negram label it is probably the most expensive progressive record from the Netherlands, fetching 1000-1200 euros in perfect condition. Plus five recordings from Dutch TV from 1971 are included. Very highly recommended! (JL) -
COUNTRY LANE - COUNTRY LANE - Substratum - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A remastered, great-sounding reissue, unavailable for many years, of the only album, released in February 1973, by a forgotten Swiss band. The band impressed with a high standard of performance and maturity of composition, and at the same time skilfully and variously combined a heavy, organ-and-guitar sound with distinctly British roots with melodic rock. On the one hand you can hear here the influences of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd and Van Der Graaf Generator, but also of French progressive bands such as Ange and Triangle. You listen to the record in one breath, because (except for one 3-minute musical joke) it was filled with 'nothing but the dense stuff'! I will only add that on the second part of the original vinyl there was a 20-minute, progressive suite! 'Substratum' remains one of the most interesting, though little-known, records of continental European progressive rock of the first half of the 70s. A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
CRAVINKEL - CRAVINKEL – Cravinkel & Garden of Loneliness + bonus (Live Waldbühne Berlin 1971) (2CD) - MIG Music Editionprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
The two-disc release Cravinkel & Garden of Loneliness presents the complete studio output of one of the most interesting, and at the same time underrated, German bands of the turn of the sixties and seventies. The first album (with a sleeve showing the musicians on a haystack) resembled early Neil Young, while the second is very intense, hard rock (slightly progressive), jamming playing live - in the studio. Only three tracks, rock dynamite! Highly recommended! -
CRAZY MABEL - CRAZY MABEL - Crazy Mabel - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
European reissue of the only, completely forgotten, but great album by a British progressive band, originally released in 1970 (only in the Netherlands and Germany), echoing almost directly the slightly jazzy and so typical of 1970 (saxophone, flute, electric guitar, dense drumming) eclectic style of early Jethro Tull, Blodwyn Pig, Traffic and the unknown band Diabolus. Geoff Leigh played the wind instruments - soon after a member of Henry Cow. The only flaws of this album are: the 3-minute, dreary track opening the whole thing, which departs from the style of the rest of the compositions, and the (probably) artificial applause pasted in between tracks. Excellent sound quality! A must for fans of progressive rock! (JL) -
CRESSIDA (see also: Uriah Heep) - CRESSIDA - Cressida - GER Repertoire Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
Brilliant debut by a British formation, in its instrumental layer very reminiscent of Rare Bird with electric guitar. Remastered Repertoire edition. A must! -
CRESSIDA (see also: Uriah Heep) - CRESSIDA - Cressida - UK Repertoire Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Released in early 1970 by Vertigo, an excellent debut by a British band, instrumentally very reminiscent of early Rare Bird with electric guitar and of Procol Harum. A must! -
CRESSIDA (see also: Uriah Heep) - CRESSIDA - Cressida / Asylum (2CD) - UK BGO Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 95,00 PLN / 23,75 EUR
Beautiful, richly arranged art-rock, comparable to the music of the Moody Blues, Rare Bird and Procol Harum. Both albums are stunning, although the hitherto underrated debut seems to be the better one. Remastered, double British edition. A MUST! -
CROSS, DAVID & BANKS, PETER (see also: King Crimson / Yes / Flash) - DAVID CROSS & PETER BANKS - Crossover - UK Noisy Edition - LISTENprice: 50,00 PLN / 12,50 EUR
A record based on the musicians' improvisations, recorded on 10 August 2010. Cross returned to work on the album in 2018 (five years after Banks's death) and, with the help of various musicians associated with Yes and King Crimson (including Tony Kaye, Geoff Downes, Pat Mastelotto, Billy Sherwood, Jeremy Stacey), added the remaining parts. Digipak. -
CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - Culpeper's Orchard - AUS Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the three best albums ever recorded in Scandinavia and probably the coolest record from Denmark! This cult, though still not widely known, band brilliantly combined sophisticated, dynamic, guitar playing in the vein of Led Zeppelin with typical prog-rock a la Procol Harum and elements of folk. Plenty of electric guitars, Hammond organ, lots of changes of tempo and mood - simply a perfect album! An absolute must! -
CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - Mountain Music - Polydor Recordings 1971-1973 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A remastered, two-disc set containing all the albums released by Polydor by probably the best Danish progressive band ("Culpeper's Orchard" from 1971, "Second Sight" and "Going For A Song" from 1972) and four bonus tracks, two of them on CD for the first time. Additionally a 24-page booklet, with interviews with, among others, the vocalist/guitarist Cy Nicklin, the bassist Michael Friis, the drummer Tom McEwan and the guitarist Neils Vangkild. The whole in a gatefold digipak. A MUST! (MU) -
CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - CULPEPER'S ORCHARD - Second Sight +7 - EU Eclipse Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
After such a fantastic record as the Danes' 1971 debut, it would have been hard to record anything better, but the 'second', released in 1972, almost maintained that level! Recorded with an unchanged line-up, the album was kept in a very similar, folk-hard-progressive mood. The same charming vocal, electric guitars mixed with acoustic ones, occasional flute, at times almost hard rock thrashing. In addition, seven very good bonus tracks from the period - mainly from rare singles. This version beats the previous CD editions hands down (in every respect)! Highly recommended! -
CURTIS, MIKI (see also: Samurai JAP) - MIKI CURTIS - First Ear - UK Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Solo album by the leader of the Japanese group Samurai. -

CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Cut - GER Repertoire Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
The band's fourth album, from 1973, with a new line-up - Darryl Way's place was taken by the then very young Eddie Jobson, and the result was a great, very dynamic record (lots of guitars, lively drumming) with the stunning, 11-minute, epic "Metamorphosis". Edition in a gatefold cardboard sleeve. Highly recommended! -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Cut - UK Esoteric Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR

CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Curved Space & Infinity (Rarities Series Vol. 2) (2CD) - UK Press - UNIKALNY CDprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
A compilation album where the very division into two discs – "Curved Space" and "Infinity" – suggests a conceptual distinction between more "earthly" prog rock and freer, almost cosmic experiment. The first disc is closer to the tradition of British progressive rock of the 70s. The second disc ("Infinity") is already decidedly more open material – at times brushing against ambient, jazz improvisation or even proto-electronics. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -
CURVED AIR - CURVED AIR - Air Conditioning +11 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR
The wonderful, progressive debut by this British band is one of the most thrilling albums of that period. The band combined, in a very skilful and original way, elements of rock, ballad, classical music and folk, and everything was kept in a rather dark and psychedelic mood. My favourites are the superb, dark, 6-minute "Hide And Seek" that opened side B of the original vinyl and the perhaps even better "Situations". In truth every one of the compositions here deserves attention... It is simply an album without weak points! In addition, eleven previously unreleased tracks (alternative studio versions and recordings for the BBC). -
