LP
ICARUS (see also: Wolf / Soft Machine) - ICARUS - Marvel World Of Icarus - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Another very attractive and great-sounding reissue from the Ethelion label of the only longplayer, originally released in 1972, by a forgotten British band, playing a mixture of rock, jazz and psychedelia. Catchy and very concise compositions, plenty of juicy guitars, nice parts for wind instruments (especially flute) - a bit like a combination of Heaven, Hannibal and If. The original vinyl was withdrawn from sale at the demand of Marvel Comics and today it is a considerable rarity worth around 600 euros! More about the band and this record can be read in the second volume of 'Brytyjski Rock'! Highly recommended! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -
LP
IF - IF - Live At The BBC 1970-1972 - EU Atos / Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
This limited, excellently recorded, 58-minute LP gathers superb, rare material by the best (alongside Colosseum) British jazz-rock band, taken from radio sessions (1970-1972) for the BBC. The first side of the record is filled by two sessions from 1970-1971, that is, from the period of the second and third albums (of course in altered versions). The second side is filled by an exquisite, half-hour concert recorded in summer 1972, just after the release of the fourth record. I must stress that the band plays slightly more dynamically here than on the catalogue albums, and the sound quality is simply ideal - as on the studio titles! In my opinion this is the best IF I have heard! It is exquisite to listen to from start to finish! A must! NEW, SEALED. -
LP

LP
IF - IF - If 3 - EU Repertoire Remastered 180g Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
The classic third album by the band, from 1971. All of If's records belong to the canon of British jazz rock. Plenty of horns, lots of flute parts, a great guitarist and a rocking rhythm section. 2021 remastered edition in a gatefold sleeve. Highly recommended! (JL) -
LP
IGGINBOTTOM (see also: Soft Machine / U.K.) - IGGINBOTTOM - Igginbottom's Wrench - EU Ethelion Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Very much like the British original on Deram from the end of 1969 (with a faithfully reproduced, rather faded cover), a European reissue of the great, only album by a progressive, jazzy (without brass) band with a very young Allan Holdsworth on guitar. To tell the truth it is a one-of-a-kind album - very dreamy, psychedelic, but full of breathtaking playing. Excellent sound with perfectly audible bass lines. A must! Condition: NEW, sealed. (JL) -
LP

Renaissance of the early seventies! RECORD SEALED! Sleeve: MINT- / Record: MINT -
LP
INDIAN SUMMER - INDIAN SUMMER - Indian Summer - EU 180g Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
One of the best progressive records in the history of rock! You simply have to listen to it! Excellent compositions, lots of Hammond, intense, slightly jazzy guitar, a characteristic, nasal voice. At times this music brings to mind the stately sound of Procol Harum and an early, rock-ified Santana. Why this band did not make it - I have no idea! You simply cannot live without this album! A replica of the 1971 RCA/Neon edition, in a gatefold sleeve, on 180-gram vinyl. -
LP
IRONBRIDGE - IRONBRIDGE - Ironbridge - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A completely forgotten, sole album by an anonymous British band (the LP was released in 1973 exclusively in France - by EMI Columbia) playing very nice, melodic Beatles-like rock (acoustic/electric Harrison-style guitars) with elements of hard and progressive - something like Badfinger combined with a more dynamic Home, and at times even with the UFO of the time. Each side of the vinyl record was closed, meanwhile, by an excellent, progressive number with Mellotron! Very good production and zero boredom! Highly recommended! -
LP
JACK, ALAN -CIVILIZATION- (see also: Coeur Magique) - ALAN JACK CIVILIZATION - Bluesy Mind - EU Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
The sole album by a French band (recording for the same label as Gong) with a vocalist singing in English. A great, slightly psychedelic record with a bluesy foundation - typical 1969. The guitarist later founded the very successful Couer Magique. Recommended! (JL) -
LP
JACKSON BANTON EVANS (see also: Van der Graaf Generator) - DAVID JACKSON, GUY EVANS, HUGH BANTON & FRIENDS - Long Hello - EU United Artists Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
This is classic Van der Graaf Generator from 1973, but... without vocalist Peter Hammill! Reissued on vinyl for the first time in the original, vinyl cover! The material was not released in Great Britain until 1976 - in a horrible white sleeve with the brown logo of The Long Hello, but two years earlier it came out in Italy (in a fairy-tale cover - on United Artists) under the original banner of "three surnames and friends" and with the title 'The Long Hello'... The album was made in 1973 - right after Hammill suspended VDGG's activity, while the other musicians still wanted to work together. Stylistically it is a chunk of charming, instrumental progressive rock decidedly in the vein of the somewhat calmer, but still 'psychedelically twisted' moods of early VDGG - with flute, saxophone, processed keyboards and acoustic guitar. The record also features two then-members of Rare Bird, including bassist Nic Potter - known to fans from the second and third Van Der Graaf Generator records! Excellent, clean sound on clean, hiss-free vinyl! Beautiful, laminated sleeve. Highly recommended! -
LP
JADE WARRIOR (see also: July) - JADE WARRIOR - Jade Warrior - ITA Akarma Pressprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
Released once by Vertigo, the debut album by the cult, progressive formation from the British Isles. A combination of rock with elements of ethnic music - mainly of the Far East. Percussion instruments (mainly timpani) instead of classic drums. Akarma reissue in a stiff, gatefold sleeve. -

LP
JANUS - JANUS - Gravedigger +2 - GER Expanded Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
An English band that released their only record in Germany alone - for Harvest. Alongside sharp, guitar-driven (slightly psychedelic) compositions there is also a 20-minute, title suite in a dreamy mood with beautiful classical guitar parts and a delicate string backing. Plus an insert with a photo. A classic item - worth about 400 euros in the original! German reissue with two additional tracks from a single. Condition: NEW - sealed. -
LP
JASPER - JASPER - Liberation - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Yet another unknown English band. Released in 1969, Jasper's sole and mega-rare album is a mixture of rock and blues drizzled with psychedelic sauce, that is, early progressive rock. The album contains a brilliant 7-minute, strongly psychedelic version of "Baby Please Don't Go" played at a veeery slow tempo. It is one of those records that gain a lot on repeated listens. The original on the Spark label is worth over 2000 euros, so it is probably worth investing in a great-sounding and beautiful-looking reissue. Highly recommended! New, sealed. -
LP
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - Live In Essen, January 1972 (2LP) - EU Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A limited, rare, European double LP containing on three sides a great, 75-minute performance by the band from Essen in Germany, from January 1972, during the tour promoting the LP "Aqualung". On the fourth side a great, 26-minute bonus is included. In my opinion, even despite some imperfections, it is the best-sounding material from this period. Unfortunately, it may be hard to believe, but there is no professional recording of a concert by the band from 1971-1972! The version from this vinyl sounds a good 20% better (more treble, corrected tape speed) than the music from YouTube. Additionally included is a unique, 26-minute version of "Wind-Up" from the 1972 Tokyo concert, containing plenty of improvisation - including the unique instrumental track "Hard-Headed English General". A must for fans of old rock! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -
LP
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - Songs From The Vault 1975–1978 (2LP) - GER Chrysalis Editionprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
An exceptional compilation of archival recordings by Jethro Tull, covering pieces created during the sessions for the albums Minstrel in the Gallery, Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die!, Songs from the Wood and Heavy Horses. The set includes rarities, early versions of well-known compositions and pieces that for years remained in the archives, and many of them appeared on vinyl for the first time. The material shows the wealth of ideas of Ian Anderson and the band and the creative process behind some of the most important albums of the second half of the seventies. Steven Wilson's new mixes bring out the details of the instrumentation, while retaining the natural, analogue sound characteristic of the era, and the whole gives the impression of a coherent album rather than a random set of archival items. -
LP
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - So Much Trouble - BBC Sessions (July 1968 - June 1969) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a fantastic vinyl containing all the recordings from all three BBC radio recording sessions that took place between July 1968 and June 1969, that is, in the period of the first two albums. Two tracks (the bluesy "Stormy Monday" and "So Much Trouble") never appeared on any record. Unfortunately the bonus from Swedish radio promised on the sleeve somehow did not make it onto the vinyl - perhaps that is for the best... The sound quality is excellent, and then there is the gorgeous, stylish sleeve with plenty of very rare photos on the back. An absolute must! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - Thick As A Brick - EU Steven Wilson 2012 Remix 180g Pressprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
The brilliant fifth album by the band, released in the form of a fold-out newspaper. 2015 reissue containing the Steven Wilson mix. -
LP
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - Stand Up - UK Island ('pink with white I') 1969/1970 Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 400,00 PLN / 100,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare second British edition (from the turn of 1969/1970) of the band's brilliant second album, containing, among others, "Bouree", "Nothing Is Easy" and "A New Day Yesterday". Gatefold sleeve with the band's pop-up, which stands up when the sleeve is opened, with an almost invisible trace of a sticker on the back: EXCELLENT+ / Record practically like new, with excellent sound: MINT(-)
