Reissue of the debut album, released in 1974, by the Yugoslav formation Kornelyans. In truth it was the second record by the band Korni Grupa! Recorded in Italy with English lyrics, the album belongs to the very top of art-rock playing from the former Eastern Bloc! Stylistically it resembles the then output of the Finnish group Wigwam, that is, playing close to Focus, Traffic, Procol Harum and Caravan - and that is probably recommendation enough! New, sealed, red vinyl. -

A very attractive reissue, looking no worse than the British original on Parlophone, of the only album by the cult British band Locomotive. A fantastic, psychedelic and hugely underrated LP (with clearly audible elements of blues and jazz) recorded at the end of 1968, and released only in January 1970, by the Parlophone known to all. A combination of the style of early Procol Harum with the less well-known band Velvett Fogg, that is, short but concise compositions; lots of gloomy, organ sounds; memorable melodies, frequent changes of mood, as well as nice brass arrangements (including Dick Heckstall-Smith and Chris Mercer) and the superb, sinister vocals of the leader and organist Norman Haines. The content of the original album has been extended by two tracks from singles (1969) and "Moneymaker" (1970), never released on vinyl. In 1970 the discouraged band broke up, and Haines founded his own band, a more progressive, harder continuation, as it were, of Locomotive's achievements. The Locomotive album is one of my favourite 'Brits' of that era! An absolute MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. -

ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare (especially in great condition), first British pressing (from 1977, by CBS) of the second album by a very good, though underrated, British, slightly Zeppelin-like hard-progressive band, with Paul Chapman (UFO) on guitar. The vocal parts on this album were performed by John Sloman (later for a year in Uriah Heep). Originally the sleeve was covered with a thin, silver foil, very prone to scratches and scuffs! Lyric insert! Great condition! Fortunately, this copy still has the original factory foil (on which a circular scuff is visible - it is not the sleeve!), although minor scuffs on the back are visible, hence the sleeve: MINT- / Record almost perfect: MINT(-) -

Greek reissue in a gatefold sleeve of the great, progressive debut album, once released only in South Africa (by Vertigo), by the keyboardist originally from Great Britain, known in later years from records by Camel, Cockney Rebel, Kate Bush (the first three) and Budgie, among others. The album, now worth nearly 500 euros, combined the style of Refugee, Morgan and early Wakeman. Three long compositions based on all sorts of keyboard sounds (with a rhythm section, of course) and fortunately without tedious longueurs. This is top-shelf art rock! After arriving in Great Britain Mackay played on records by artists such as Baker Gurvitz Army, Colosseum II, Cockney Rebel, Kate Bush, Camel, Budgie and the Alan Parsons Project. Highly recommended! Condition: NEW - sealed. -

SENSATIONAL! This limited, French vinyl contains progressive material, unreleased in its day and not released until 2007, for the first album by the group Mainhorse Airline planned for 1970 - with Moraz, Ristori and Graham - and with David Kubinec (ex-World Of Oz) on vocals! Most of the compositions, in considerably altered (less psychedelic!) versions, appeared a year later (in 1971) on the classic Mainhorse album released by Polydor. Besides that, there are several unreleased compositions here! This 54-minute material was transferred originally from several acetates (trial, very delicate vinyls), yet the sound quality is almost ideal (better, cleaner than on the CD!) - only occasionally can you hear slight hiss. It is worth paying attention to the wonderful cover by Roger Dean! Quite deservedly it is an essential item for every lover of early progressive rock! The black vinyl sounds loud and noise-free. A MUST! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -
