SOFT MACHINE - SOFT MACHINE - Bundles (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The band's eighth studio album, the first released by the Harvest label. Allan Holdsworth played brilliantly on guitars here! Remastered 2022 edition, to which a second CD has been added, containing a recording of a concert on 11 October 1975 at Nottingham University, remastered from the original master tapes, previously released under the title "British Tour '75". Unfortunately Holdsworth was no longer in the band then, having left for the New Tony Williams Lifetime, and he recommended John Etheridge, who had previously played in Icarus and Darryl Way's Wolf, in his place. The whole thing comes in a gatefold digipak. Highly recommended! (MU) -

SOLITUDE AETURNUS (see also: Candlemass) - SOLITUDE AETURNUS - Into The Depths Of Sorrow / Beyond The Crimson Horizon (2CD) - UK Dissonance Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A compilation containing the first two albums by a cult American doom metal band: "Into The Depths Of Sorrow" from 1991 and "Beyond The Crimson Horizon" from 1992. Both records appear in rankings of the best doom works of all time, and the music often goes beyond the genre thanks to almost thrash-like accelerations. A must! (MU) -
SOMEONE'S BAND - SOMEONE'S BAND - Someones Band - EU Decca Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A reissue, awaited forever, of the only and unfortunately completely forgotten album, released in 1970 by the Deram label, by a British progressive band playing heavy rock with elements of blues and sometimes throwing in elements of ethnic music - something like a combination of Savoy Brown, Black Cat Bones, early Fleetwood Mac of the LP Then Play On period and Jethro Tull. To me Someones Band's music is most reminiscent of the only album by the legendary Elias Hulk! Highly recommended! -

STILL LIFE - STILL LIFE - Still Life - GER Repertoire Remastered Card Sleeve Limited Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A completely forgotten British hard-progressive band with a single album, released by Vertigo in 1971, referencing the style of early Beggars Opera and Uriah Heep (without guitar) - that is, lots of Hammond, characteristic vocal harmonies, extended tracks of 6-7 minutes. Remastered Repertoire version, in mini LP form, limited to 3000 copies. Highly recommended! (JL) -

STONEHOUSE (see also: Asgard) - STONEHOUSE - Stonehouse Creek - EU Once Again Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, remastered edition of the great, though practically forgotten by the world, only album by a British band. Released at the beginning of 1971 by RCA Victor (and worth 400-500 euros on vinyl today), the Brits' only, but splendid, LP contained heavy, very thoroughbred playing (with light elements of blues and prog rock) in the traditional British style, recalling a little the debut of Budgie, May Blitz records, the debut of Free and Leaf Hound. Devoid of any promotion (and probably a mere, unscrupulous tax write-off for the record label), the record sank without trace on the market - like hundreds of other titles released by major labels at the turn of the 60s and 70s. The band certainly gained no popularity from the dreadful sleeve, which looked as if splattered with mud. It is hard to believe that it was signed by the man known from the debut of Black Sabbath and records by the groups Spring, Indian Summer, Affinity, Colosseum - Keef... After a few months, two Stonehouse musicians formed the gentler and more progressive band Asgard. A MUST! Condition: new, sealed. (JL) -

SUBJECT ESQ. (see also: Sahara / Gift) - SUBJECT ESQ. - Subject Esq. +6 - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
Released in 1972 by the German branch of Epic, the only, but splendid, album, containing thrillingly performed, richly arranged progressive music typical of Germany, based on the interplay of organ, electric and acoustic guitars, flute, saxophone, recalling a combination of the style of, among others, Jane, Out Of Focus and Murphy Blend. The band drew on various sources; sometimes it sounded almost hard rock, at other times it approached the style of jazz-rock, or showed a fascination with the work of Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull. Generally the record should delight all fans of good old, juicy playing. The CD contains over 30 minutes of excellent, rare material (different, much better than the two live tracks on the old and worse-sounding Ohrwashl edition), recorded in the studio and live in 1971-1972. In 1973 the group changed its name to Sahara and released the great 'Sunrise' (1974). A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
SUCK - SUCK - Time To Suck - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A superb record from South Africa, legendary among collectors. With one exception, the album contained only covers of more or less well-known tracks from the hard and prog-rock area - all performed with great dynamism and fire. Believe me, some of the recordings came out better than the originals (for example the two Grand Funk compositions or Colosseum's "Elegy"), and whose version of "War Pigs" is better - please judge for yourself... The original vinyl (released by Parlophone) in very good condition costs nearly 2000 euros! A must! (JL) -
SVANFRIDUR (see also: Pelican) - SVANFRIDUR - What's Hidden There? - EU Prog Gems Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A great-sounding and attractive-looking reissue of the only, but splendid, album by an Icelandic band, recorded in 1972 in London and originally released privately by the band. The Svanfridur musicians played ambitious and very atmospheric, classic progressive rock, with distinct influences of psychedelia, folk, jazz and heavy sounds. The quartet's music can be roughly described as a combination of the style of Jethro Tull (with far less flute), Wishbone Ash, Gnidrolog, Curved Air and East Of Eden. It was decidedly British playing, but with a large dose of Scandinavian gloom and melancholy - very sophisticated, a bit hard to take in at once, but in its own way orderly and ear-catching. Almost every fan of good old rock should be delighted with this record! Currently the first edition in perfect condition is worth 1000 euros! A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
