SCORPIONS - Lonesome Crow - JAP Remastered Edition - LISTEN

Released at the beginning of 1972, the debut by the band of Schenker and Meine belongs to the very top of the best heavy-rock (or rather heavy-progressive) albums in the history of rock! A brilliant and formula-exhausting combination of the style of very early Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and (in traces) Pink Floyd. Wonderful playing by the then 17-year-old guitarist - Michael Schenker, expansive compositions with a slightly psychedelic, dark mood, excellent, spacious production! An absolute must! A remastered 2010 Japanese reissue. (JL)
