WHO, THE - WHO - Live At Hull 1970 (2CD) - EU Deluxe Edition - LISTENprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Sensational live material recorded in February 1970, the day after the legendary "Live At Leeds" and just as good as that classic album! Here the band sounds like a souped-up Led Zeppelin and on stage at that time had no equal! Double CD released in the form of an eye-catching digipak. A must for fans!!! -

WHO, THE - WHO - My Generation +16 (2CD) - EU STEREO Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Released in December 1965, the debut by the legendary Brits and one of the most important titles of the 60s! Contrary to appearances (unlike the hit singles) the album itself sold very poorly at the time - much worse than records by, say, The Rolling Stones. Yet today every fan of classic rock should have this cult record in their collection! Double edition in a traditional jewel case, containing the stereo mix (in my opinion somewhat poorer, but more spacious than the mono...) and as many as sixteen great bonuses. A beautiful edition with a very sizeable, attractive booklet! A must! (JL) -
WHO, THE - WHO - My Generation - UK Remastered MONO Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Psychotic Overkill - SPA Guerssen Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Wicked Lady is a great British heavy rock trio which unfortunately received no official recordings in its day. The band's leader was Martin Weaver, guitarist and vocalist, known from Dark's only album! This superbly presented Spanish CD contains recordings made in 1972 and is the second part of all the band's recordings from 1969-1972 (the first came out under the title "Axeman Cometh"). The sound quality is very good although slightly muffled (something like the second T2 album). Highly recommended! (K) 2022 reissue, in a traditional plastic jewel case. -
WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Axeman Cometh - UK Unreleased Heavy Rock (Vol. 1 - 1969-1972) - SPA Guerssen Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Superb heavy rock material, unreleased in its day, by the cult British trio, whose leader was guitarist and vocalist Martin Weaver - co-responsible for the great LP "Round The Edges" (1972), released in 1972, by the group Dark. Incidentally, this talented musician was remarkably unlucky... Listening to the recordings of Wicked Lady (not to mention Dark) one has to admit that this was very intense, heavy rock blazing (with a slightly garage mood) on a par with the then output of the rock front rank! Who knows how this material would have sounded if some big record label had released it in its day! The CD has a fairly extensive booklet and very good sound quality. ATTENTION! A second Wicked Lady CD, containing only recordings from 1972, came out simultaneously in the same edition. Both records basically form a whole and although we sell them separately I cannot imagine that anyone would be satisfied with only one of them... Definitely recommended! (JL) -
WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Psychotic Overkill (2LP) - SPA Guerssen Press - LISTENprice: 185,00 PLN / 46,25 EUR
Wicked Lady are a great, British heavy-rock trio who unfortunately never got any official recordings in their day. The leader of the band was the guitarist and vocalist Martin Weaver, known from the only album Dark! This superbly released, Spanish CD contains recordings made in 1972 and is the second part of all the band's recordings from 1969-1972 (the first appeared under the title "Axeman Cometh"). The sound quality is very good though slightly muffled (something like the second T2 album). Highly recommended! (K) A two-disc 2022 reissue, in a gatefold sleeve. -
WIGWAM - WIGWAM - Hard N' Horny - FIN Svart COLOURED VINYL Limited Pressprice: 180,00 PLN / 45,00 EUR
The debut album by the Finnish band, whose style is hard to define unambiguously. There is a lot of early Traffic and a bit of Colosseum, with an admixture of folk and blues. All the records from 1969-74 are worthy of sincere recommendation. An edition limited to 100 copies, on coloured vinyl. -
WIGWAM - WIGWAM - Fairyport (2CD) - FIN Svart Remastered Expanded Digipack Editionprice: 135,00 PLN / 33,75 EUR
A remastered edition of the third album (a double on vinyl) by the Finnish progressive band (with a slightly jazzy tinge), playing original music close to the work of Traffic, Procol Harum and If. Additionally a second CD with live recordings. Highly recommended! (JL) -
WIGWAM - WIGWAM - Tombstone Valentine - FIN Svart Records Limited Press - LISTENprice: 180,00 PLN / 45,00 EUR
An excellent second album by the progressive Finns, and the first on which bassist Pekka Pohjola played. Released in 1970 in Finland by the Love Records label, "Tombstone Valentine" contains 11 compositions in the vein of Procol Harum and Traffic, with jazzy touches. A 2019 reissue by the Finnish label Svart, on gold vinyl, limited to 500 copies. -
WILD BUTTER (see also: Damnation Of Adam Blessing) - WILD BUTTER - Wild Butter - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! I admit that I am a great fan of this American group/record, and buying the original LP was one of the nicer musical surprises of 2007 or 2008. Released at the beginning of 1970 by United Artists, the album contained unconventional rock music in a very British style (with clear progressive influences - mainly thanks to the use of organ and piano) and resembling a combination of late The Beatles, The Moody Blues, early, rock-oriented Neil Young and the excellent, though underrated, group Damnation Of Adam Blessing. Incidentally, two guitarists from Damnation took part in recording this little masterpiece, and the second track on the record, "Terribly Blind", is an absolute guitar classic! So all lovers of well-produced, heavyish, yet on the other hand subtle rock should definitely take an interest in this CD! A MUST! -
WILD SILK (see also: Little Big Horn) - WILD SILK - Visions In A Plaster Sky - Complete Recordings 1968-1969 - UK RPM - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
A compilation of recordings by a British soft-psychedelic band in the style of Sagittarius and Millenium, which later turned into the progressive Little Big Horn. Several recordings by the latter band appear at the end of this rare and long out-of-print CD! -
WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the best and most underrated bands of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. An almost perfect combination of hard-rock energy with a slightly folky sound; and above all very tasty guitar parts - close to the style of Wishbone Ash from the period of the LP "Argus". Additionally two live recordings - running to 30 minutes together. A must! -
WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn - UK Esoteric Remastered - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
This is one of my most adored records from the so-called British second division. New, remastered, British edition of one of the best and most underrated formations of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. On the debut, made at the beginning of 1972, the band presented an almost ideal combination of hard rock energy with a slightly folky sound and, above all, very tasty guitar parts, close to the style of Wishbone Ash of the LP Argus period. Attractive booklet. Recommended. -
