WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn - UK Esoteric Remastered - LISTEN

This is one of my most adored records from the so-called British second division. New, remastered, British edition of one of the best and most underrated formations of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. On the debut, made at the beginning of 1972, the band presented an almost ideal combination of hard rock energy with a slightly folky sound and, above all, very tasty guitar parts, close to the style of Wishbone Ash of the LP Argus period. Attractive booklet. Recommended.
