The first record by this British band, released on a double vinyl (lasting nearly 80 minutes), containing very eclectic, sophisticated music in the vein of King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator, Web and East Of Eden, that is, fairly complicated, progressive playing (with long pieces) using wind instruments, organs and so on. The only shortcoming is the lack of guitar - listed in the line-up, but I do not hear it... The next two albums are kept in a similar mood. Great sound quality. A must! -

A great-sounding reissue, with two rare bonus tracks! Released at the very beginning of 1970, the sole album by the Belgian Waterloo is wonderful, very atmospheric and at the same time hard-hitting music in the vein of Jethro Tull and Uriah Heep, all drizzled with the psychedelic sauce of the late 60s. Plenty of Hammond organ, tons (1000 kg+) of flute, great compositions. The track "Why May I Not Know?" is one of my most favourite recordings of all time! To the original material, a track from a single and a 7-minute piece never released on vinyl have been added at the end of each side! The original, mega-rare and much sought-after French edition on the Vogue label, in great condition, is worth about 2000 euros, so 100 times less for a nice reissue (looking like a perfect, new original) sounds pretty good :-) Laminated sleeve and great sound! A MUST! -

The first time on CD (apart from a Japanese card sleeve release, and with decidedly better sound on top of that)! Unfortunately this excellent and varied album was the only work of this British band, which included one Steve Harris - the drummer of the brilliant Woody Kern the year before! As for the music itself, fans of Jethro Tull, Traffic, Family and the aforementioned Woody Kern will certainly be genuinely happy! To be honest, about half of the album sounds like a potential second LP by the latter band. Some of the tracks (e.g. 2 and 4) are real rock gems, and the rest is not far behind (well, perhaps except for the poor Vietnam Rose - written by former members of The Easybeats). I have known this record for over 10 years and have listened to it at least 50 times. It is an absolute must for all fans of rock from 1969-1970. Highly recommended! -

A rare double European vinyl limited to 500 copies, released in a superb sleeve and containing truly sensational, 112-minute live material recorded on 15 February 1970 - exactly one day after the legendary Leeds performance, released on the official album! Here the band sounds like a souped-up Led Zeppelin and at that time had no equal on stage! The Hull performance has never before appeared on vinyl (only on a double CD), and in my opinion it sounds minimally better still than the brilliant Leeds! An absolute must! Condition: NEW, but unsealed. -

Superb heavy rock material, unreleased in its day, by the cult British trio, whose leader was guitarist and vocalist Martin Weaver - co-responsible for the great LP "Round The Edges" (1972), released in 1972, by the group Dark. Incidentally, this talented musician was remarkably unlucky... Listening to the recordings of Wicked Lady (not to mention Dark) one has to admit that this was very intense, heavy rock blazing (with a slightly garage mood) on a par with the then output of the rock front rank! Who knows how this material would have sounded if some big record label had released it in its day! The CD has a fairly extensive booklet and very good sound quality. ATTENTION! A second Wicked Lady CD, containing only recordings from 1972, came out simultaneously in the same edition. Both records basically form a whole and although we sell them separately I cannot imagine that anyone would be satisfied with only one of them... Definitely recommended! (JL) -

Released in 1970 in Finland by the Love Records label, "Tombstone Valentine" contains 11 compositions in the vein of Procol Harum and Traffic, with jazzy touches. A 2019 reissue by the Finnish label Svart, on gold vinyl, limited to 500 copies. -

On CD for the first time! I admit that I am a great fan of this American group/record, and buying the original LP was one of the nicer musical surprises of 2007 or 2008. Released at the beginning of 1970 by United Artists, the album contained unconventional rock music in a very British style (with clear progressive influences - mainly thanks to the use of organ and piano) and resembling a combination of late The Beatles, The Moody Blues, early, rock-oriented Neil Young and the excellent, though underrated, group Damnation Of Adam Blessing. Incidentally, two guitarists from Damnation took part in recording this little masterpiece, and the second track on the record, "Terribly Blind", is an absolute guitar classic! So all lovers of well-produced, heavyish, yet on the other hand subtle rock should definitely take an interest in this CD! A MUST! -
