TAMAM SHUD (see also: Kahvas Jute) - TAMAM SHUD - Evolution +1 - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
This is one of my most favourite and most often played little-known records! A remastered and very good-sounding reissue of the debut album, recorded in two and a half hours and released in early 1969, by a genuinely cult Australian band. This sensational LP has great compositions, plenty of overdriven guitars and a lot of psychedelia, that is, a cross between Hendrix and Cream with a pinch of late Beatles. There are no weak moments on the record and every fan of old rock should simply have this title in their collection! A must! (JL) -
TAMAM SHUD (see also: Kahvas Jute) - TAMAM SHUD - Goolutionites And The Real People +9 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1970 by Australian Warner Bros, the second album, slightly more progressive and at the same time slightly less aggressive, is simply fantastic and recalls a little the work of the very dark The Allman Brothers Band, Free, early Neil Young with Crazy Horse and the best moments of the Australian band Master's Apprentices. Slowly building tension, enchanting melodies, long juicy guitar solos and spacious sound. This is how they played only in 1970! The sound is in my opinion slightly better (less hiss, slightly more treble) than on the Australian edition! In addition, nine very nice bonus tracks! A must! -

TERAUCHI, TAKESHI & THE BLUE JEANS - TAKESHI TERAUCHI & THE BLUE JEANS - Rashomon - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A fantastic album from Japan, originally released in 1972! Takeshi Terauchi is a master of the guitar and in the 60s was a great star of Japanese guitar pop-rock in the style of The Shadows. In 1972 he turned towards heavier rock and with his band recorded the fantastic LP "Rashomon", inspired by Kurosawa's film. It was a combination of psychedelic, heavy rock with surf music and Japanese folk - with the superb sound of heavily overdriven (and clean) guitars in the leading role! On screen it may look strange, but the end result is stunning! "Rashomon" is one of my favourite records from Japan - I have known it since the early 90s, when I received a parcel with CDs by Blues Creation, Speed Glue And Shinki, Far Out and Flower Travellin' Band! A great treat for rock fans looking for something a little different! A must! (JL) -

THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS - 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS - Easter Everywhere - EU Charly Remastered Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The second album by the cult American band, counted among the forerunners of psychedelia. Under the strong influence of LSD the band created dynamic, somewhat twisted, but at the same time very atmospheric music. Unfortunately, serious drug abuse ended rather tragically for the band's leader Roky Erickson - the artist began to hear the voices of Martians, which he did not fail to tell the policemen arresting him (for possession). As a result, Roky, suffering in addition from depression, ended up in a psychiatric hospital for several years and never really recovered... In the opinion of many this album is even better than the debut (e.g. the opening, 8-minute "Slip Into This House" is simply brilliant). Remastered 2024 stereo edition. -
TINKERBELLS FAIRYDUST - TINKERBELLS FAIRYDUST - Tinkerbells Fairydust +9 - UK Grapefruit Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
On CD for the first time! The Holy Grail of British pop-psychedelia has finally seen the light of day! The problem is that in 1969 the album was pulled from production by Decca at the last minute, and as a result literally four copies of the record and sleeve were pressed - fetching prices of £2000 for an average condition copy! The single "Twenty Ten" appeared on the "Rubble" box set, while the next one, "In My Magic Garden", is known from the "British Psychedelic Trip" series. The album has plenty of really nice moments and a lot of covers, although of course it is not a record on the level of Andwella's Dream or Tomorrow. This very attractively presented CD has nine bonus tracks, taken from the band's earlier incarnations. All in all, highly recommended! -

TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Gold (2CD) - EU Pressprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A very good, broad cross-section of Traffic's work from 1967–1974 – that is from the psychedelic rock of the late 60s to the more progressive and jazz-rock sound of the early 70s. -
TRAFFIC - TRAFFIC - Mr. Fantasy +12 - EU Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A beautifully produced, remastered edition of the debut album from the end of 1967. A slab of superb music - typical English pop-psychedelia combined with folk (that is, acoustic guitars) and guitar rock. Mono and stereo mixes on 1 CD. The second part of the CD is filled by the American, mono LP "Heaven Is In Your Mind" (1968) containing, among others, single tracks such as "Paper Sun" and "Hole In My Shoe". A must! (JL) -
TRUTH (see also: Bob Smith) - TRUTH – Truth - Sundazed Music Editionprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR

TWINK (see also: Tomorrow / Pretty Things / Pink Fairies) - TWINK - Think Pink III - UK Editionprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
The sixth (counting the records made with the bands Bevis Frond and Technicolour Dream) album by the former drummer of the Pretty Things, Tomorrow and the Pink Fairies. -
TWINK (see also: Tomorrow / Pretty Things / Pink Fairies) - TWINK - Think Pink (50th Anniversary Edition) - UK Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Behind this pseudonym hid the former drummer of the Pretty Things, Tomorrow and the Pink Fairies. It was with musicians from those bands that he recorded a fantastic, psychedelic gem. A dark, narcotic mood, plenty of sound collages, but also several monstrous compositions with hard-hitting guitar parts in the foreground. At moments it is not easy playing; although fans of "S.F. Sorrow" or the first Pink Floyd album will be delighted! Highly recommended! A remastered edition to mark the album's 50th anniversary, in a traditional plastic jewel case. -
UNDERGROUND SET (see also: Nuova Idea) - UNDERGROUND SET - Underground Set +4 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time outside South Korea! Remastered edition of the excellent, cult psychedelic album recorded under an assumed name by musicians of the Italian progressive formation Nuova Idea! The material was made long before their excellent debut "In The Beginning" (1971). "Underground Set" contained instrumental, mostly short tracks based on the rich sound of Hammond organ, overdriven guitar and a juicy rhythm section - close to the Italian Blue Phantom, and to some extent also the German Bokaj Retsiem and Hell Preachers Inc. or the British Ugly Custard. Pieces that you can sometimes hear and see (in gentler versions) in old European films from the late 60s - today much sought after and prized by vinyl collectors! I admit that I really like this album (once released also in Germany, France and Great Britain) - even despite two or three weaker (too easy) passages! In addition four superb tracks from three rare Italian singles are included! The front of the CD bears the cover borrowed from the British vinyl, while the Italian design came in yellow-and-black colours. Highly recommended! -

VARIOUS ARTISTS - VARIOUS ARTISTS - Living On The Hill - A Danish Underground Trip 1967-1974 (3CD BOX) - UK Esoteric Remastered Editionprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
A three-disc box set containing almost four hours of music by Danish bands, from 1967-1974. From the publisher: "From the psychedelic jamming of ALRUNE ROD and YOUNG FLOWERS, to the harder music of THE OLD MAN & THE SEA, HURDY GURDY and DELTA BLUES BAND, to progressive and jazz-oriented bands such as BURNIN’ RED IVANHOE, BLAST FURNACE, CULPEPER’S ORCHARD, MIDNIGHT SUN, PAN, SECRET OYSTER and THOR’S HAMMER, the variety and range of bands emerging from a small country was impressive in its excellence. Some bands, such as THE SAVAGE ROSE, BURNIN' RED IVANHOE, ACHE, MIDNIGHT SUN, SECRET OYSTER, CULPEPER’S ORCHARD and DAY OF PHOENIX achieved some success outside their homeland, while others remained in the Scandinavian backyard. The common thread of all these artists was an emphasis on experimentation and a willingness to cross perceived musical boundaries." -

The whole thing in a rigid box. Highly recommended! (MU)
