ALAN BOWN (see also: Jonesy / Vinegar Joe / Supertramp / Bronco) - ALAN BOWN - Outward Bown (First Album) +14 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered (the old See For Miles edition had distorted and slightly 'wobbly' sound) and considerably expanded Swedish edition of the excellent debut album by the British formation The Alan Bown! (with an exclamation mark). This album, released at the end of 1968 by the label Music Factory, unfortunately somewhat forgotten today, certainly belongs among the best achievements of British psychedelic rock! Seriously! This excellent and criminally underrated record contains twelve unconventional, psychedelic, melodic compositions (sometimes lighter, sometimes heavier...) in a fairly "fairy-tale" mood - with the addition of a brass section. Particularly striking are the sophisticated arrangements and catchy melodies. I especially recommend the originally arranged cover of "All Along The Watchtower" (it was this very version that inspired Hendrix!), the decidedly pop-psychedelic "Toyland", and the heavy, guitar-riff-based "Penny For Your Thoughts" or the dynamic "My Girl The Month Of May". In fact it is hard to single out this or that track, because all the recordings are simply superb! In addition, it is worth paying attention to the excellent vocalist Jess Roden - later in Bronco and the Butts Band! Besides this, as many as fourteen bonus tracks are included here, among them 10 ultra-rare recordings made for the BBC! An absolute must!!! (JL) -

ALIAS, MELCHIOR - MELCHIOR ALIAS - Melchior Alias - UK Aurora - LAST COPY!price: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
Released in 1969 (by Canadian Capitol), the only and quite nice album by a French-speaking Canadian backed by a 'progressive-ballad' band somewhat reminiscent of early Procol Harum (organ) with a pinch of Traffic, as well as the rock output (of the late 60s) of Serge Gainsbourg. The most rock-oriented track (with an extended guitar part) lasts 8 minutes. A treat for lovers of rock oddities (or so-called 'curios'). Condition: sealed -
AMBOY DUKES (see also: Ted Nugent) - AMERICAN AMBOY DUKES - Journey To The Center Of The Mind +1 - GER Repertoire Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
German edition from the label Repertoire of one of the best records of 1968! A fantastic and, importantly, melodic guitar orgy - combining classic psychedelia with Hendrix- and Cream-style heavy rock. The whole second side of the vinyl was filled by the 20-minute, title, frenzied suite! A somewhat forgotten rock masterpiece - from the first minute to the last! One bonus track. An absolute must! (JL) Condition: sealed -
AMBOY DUKES (see also: Ted Nugent) - AMERICAN AMBOY DUKES - Migration +2 - GER Repertoire Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
Great third album by the psychedelic formation of the legendary guitarist Ted Nugent. "Migration" is at moments slightly heavier, better produced and more varied than the fantastic second album, although the 'second' is a little more even. This album will certainly appeal to all lovers of heavy, guitar-driven, somewhat eclectic playing of the late 60s! Two bonus tracks. Repertoire edition in a traditional jewel case. Recommended! (JL) -
AMBROSE SLADE (see also: Slade) - AMBROSE SLADE - Beginnings - EU Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Slade's first record, made still under their previous name and containing psychedelic music that should undoubtedly interest lovers of the British underground of the late 60s. Highly recommended! (JL) -

AMERICAN BLUES (see also: ZZ Top / Moving Sidewalks) - AMERICAN BLUES - Is Here - KOR Big Pink Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 125,00 PLN / 31,25 EUR
Dusty Hill and Frank Beard - soon afterwards in ZZ Top! A nice, though rather sparingly played record. The third bearded one - Billy Gibbons - was at the time striking sparks in the band Moving Sidewalks, responsible for the superb LP "Flash" (1968). 2021 Korean edition in a paper sleeve. (JL) -
ANDWELLA'S DREAM - ANDWELLA'S DREAM - Love And Poetry +4 - EU Magic Potion Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited edition of one of the best records in this shop and at the same time the quintessence of ambitious, yet melodic playing from the late 60s! Released in summer 1969, Andwella's debut and truly cult album (the next two titles were already made under the shortened name) is a stunning combination of psychedelic style in the vein of early Procol Harum, the first two records by Family and Traffic and more than a pinch of late The Beatles from the "Abbey Road" period. The original record, lasting nearly 50 minutes (in perfect British CBS Records edition worth nearly... 2000 euros!!!), was filled with relatively short, but very substantial tracks lasting on average 4 minutes each. Plus two single tracks from 1969 and two tracks from 1970 are included. This is the best-sounding edition - better than the Sunbeam Records version. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL) -
ANIMATED EGG - ANIMATED EGG - Animated Egg - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1967, an instrumental, very nice, cult record combining early psychedelia and garage rock. All of it based on the interplay of overdriven guitar and pseudo-Doors organ. The photo on the cover suggests total rubbish, but I assure you it is not! Highly recommended! (JL) -

BALLETTO DI BRONZO - BALLETTO DI BRONZO - Sirio 2222 - US Lion Remastered Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
An excellent debut album by the band, featuring sharp, heavy-psychedelic and strongly Hendrix-like playing based on the interplay of intense overdriven guitar, bass and drums. A very good album in the vein of records such as Gleemen or the Garybaldi debut. 2014 American remastered edition, in a digipak. Recommended! (JL) -
BARDENS, PETER (see also: Camel / Fleetwood Mac) - PETER BARDENS - Answer +2 - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Remastered British edition (in a very attractive, original cover) of the excellent debut album by the later Camel keyboardist - in a slightly bluesy and above all decidedly progressive vein - a bit like the music of Atomic Rooster, Arcadium and Arthur Brown. Peter Green - recent leader of Fleetwood Mac - appeared as a guest on guitar. Plus two fantastic bonus tracks from the only single, released in 1969, by the psych-progressive group Village - playing something between The Nice and Arzachel! A must! -
BARRETT, SYD (see also: Pink Floyd / David Gilmour) - SYD BARRETT - Barrett (2nd Album) +7 - EU Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Anyone who adores the earliest Pink Floyd should have these records on their shelf, even despite the fact that musical genius is mixed here with creative impotence... At least half of the album is excellent! -

BLACKFEATHER - BLACKFEATHER - At The Mountains Of Madness - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered edition of one of the best guitar albums in the history of rock and at the same time one of the top five rock records from Australia! Thrilling compositions, fantastic guitar solos and plenty of changing, but always 'catchy' moods! Two tracks of eight minutes each, one of fourteen minutes and three no less good, though shorter, pieces. It is worth knowing that a young Bon Scott - three years later the vocalist of AC/DC - guested here on percussion! A MUST! (JL) -
BLACKFEATHER - BLACKFEATHER - Sunbury - Live / Boppin' The Blues - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The second and third albums (from 1972-1973) by the Australian band, known above all for the brilliant debut LP "At The Mountain Of Madness" (1971). Both records were made with a completely changed line-up, and on the 'second' bluesy piano parts dominate. -
BLACKFOOT, J.D. - J.D. BLACKFOOT - Ultimate Prophecy +2 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited, European edition of the excellent album released in 1970 by Mercury, by a band from Cleveland (or a group accompanying the guitarist/vocalist), one of the most interesting and thrilling items from the heavy psychedelic rock circle (with a pinch of American folk on two tracks). The 23-minute suite filling the second part of the record (MOVED TO THE BEGINNING HERE) and made up of five separate parts ('Blue Cheer on steroids meets early, more progressive Grand Funk') is stun-ning! Superb, catchy melodies, guitars attacking with grace and very dense, stunning drumming - these are some of the assets of this almost hard rock masterpiece! The remaining five tracks (originally filling the first side of the vinyl) were on a similar level, though perhaps there was a little less excitement. In addition, two very rare single tracks (one great, the other so-so...) from 1969 are included. This great-sounding version contains the graphic designs of both the American (a man in a hat) and the British (a wizard in a forest) vinyl editions! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL) -
BLOOMSBURY PEOPLE (see also: Sigmund Snopek III) - BLOOMSBURY PEOPLE - Bloomsbury People +3 - SWE Flawed Gems Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Dating from 1970 and released then by MGM Records, the only album by a psychedelic American formation in which Sigmund Snopek (known from the progressive album "Virginia Woolf", released two years later) played keyboards, while the vocals were handled by a man with an equally familiar-sounding (to us) surname, Jon Wyderka! This album, still very underrated, contains eleven excellent tracks (averaging 3-4 minutes) based on the sound of organ and heavyish, fuzzed guitar and resembling the output of early The Nice, The Doors, Love, and also the Moody Blues! In addition three bonus tracks from very rare singles. -
BLOSSOM TOES (see also: B.B. Blunder / Ingoes) - BLOSSOM TOES - We Are Ever So Clean (3CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
An excellent debut regarded by many as the best British pop-psychedelic ("popsike") album of 1967! A combination of the psychedelic moods of The Beatles with The Move and Tomorrow. Remastered 2022 edition, enriched with a recording of a concert on 26 August 1967 at Philipe's Club in Stockholm (CD2), as well as demo recordings and BBC sessions (CD3). Highly recommended! (JL)
