Another compilation from the "Joe Meek's Tea Chest Tapes" series. From the publisher: "From 1962 to 1966 The Tornados were the mainstay of Joe Meek's production studio at 304 Holloway Road. Starting with the worldwide hit 'Telstar', the band's extraordinary musicality and Meek's inspiring production techniques made it possible to create excellent and innovative pop, which resulted in many hits." All the tracks have been restored and mastered, and the vast majority of them are released for the first time. Highly recommended! (MU)
