TONGUE - Keep On Truckin' - US Gear Fab Edition - LAST COPY

The CD bears the date 1969, although other sources (e.g. the book "Acid Archives") generally give 1972 as the year of release... Admittedly the only album by this American group sounds like 1969-1970, but I lean towards the later date. Either way, it is nice, rather hard rock playing with organ (and great guitar entries) and with the influences of American folk rock - somewhat reminiscent of a gentler Bloodrock with a pinch of Neil Young. The album is a little uneven, but certainly worth recommending! (JL)
