KORNELYANS (see also: Korni Grupa) - KORNELYANS - Not An Ordinary Life - US Press - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
Reissue of the debut album, released in 1974, by the Yugoslav formation Kornelyans. In truth it was the second record by the band Korni Grupa! Recorded in Italy with English lyrics, the album belongs to the very top of art-rock playing from the former Eastern Bloc! Stylistically it resembles the then output of the Finnish group Wigwam, that is, playing close to Focus, Traffic, Procol Harum and Caravan - and that is probably recommendation enough! New, sealed, red vinyl. -
KRAFTWERK (see also: Organisation / Neu) - KRAFTWERK - Autobahn - GER Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The fourth studio album by the German band, from 1974. The first on which the band decisively turned towards electronic music. -
LE ORME - LE ORME - In Concerto - ITA Limited 180g Press - LISTENprice: 160,00 PLN / 40,00 EUR
A classic live album recorded just after the release of the LP "Felona E Sorona". Lots of instrumental improvisations, very good, though not ideal, sound quality. Limited Italian 2021 reissue, on black, 180-gram vinyl. -
LE ORME - LE ORME - Contrappunti - JAP Remastered Limited Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
This is the last, very good album by the most popular (after Premiata Forneria Marconi) Italian band of the first half of the 70s. Hammond organ, bass and drums. ELP-style rock played at the highest level. On later records the band still maintained its standard, though it mellowed somewhat. A Japanese, limited edition from Mercury, from 2021. -

LEFT END - LEFT END - Spoiled Rotten - EU Walhalla Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

LEVIATHAN - LEVIATHAN - Leviathan +2 - SWE Flawed Gems Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Remastered edition (beating the Akarma version hands down in sound) of the only album by an American heavy-progressive formation. Great, thoroughbred playing drawing by the handful on the British tradition, including the sounds of mellotron! The whole thing resembles to some extent a combination of the style of Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep and Deep Purple with Moody Blues, King Crimson and Procol Harum! In addition two rare tracks from the only single of 1974, never before released on CD, have been added. A must! (JL) -
LOCOMOTIV GT (see also: Omega) - LOCOMOTIV GT - London 1973 (+5) - ITA Eastern Time Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
For the first time in the original cover! This is a very important and at the same time very good album - recorded in 1973 at the Olympic Studios in London and produced by the famous Jimmy Miller (The Rolling Stones, Traffic) - with a guest appearance - attention - by Jack Bruce (on harmonica - on one track)!!! They had something to boast about! The material on this record, released in 1974 by ABC Records (in the States and in the British Isles), is a blend of the second and third albums, that is, the band is still playing nicely, rock-oriented, still progressive, with few horns, but elements of 'funky-swinging' playing had already appeared which had a great influence on the third, Hungarian LP 'Bummm'. In addition three very rare recordings from the East German radio archive and - here is a surprise - two tracks from a Polish vinyl single from 1974 are included - including a rather unexpected cover of Tadeusz Woźniak's "Zegarmistrz światła"! Highly recommended! (JL) -

LYNYRD SKYNYRD - LYNYRD SKYNYRD - Second Helpingprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
A classic of Southern rock, which cemented the band's position as one of the most important voices of the genre. The album opens with the iconic "Sweet Home Alabama", which to this day remains one of the most recognisable rock tracks. The rest of the record confirms that the group is not a one-hit band. "Workin’ for MCA" or "The Ballad of Curtis Loew" combine raw, guitar groove with bluesy sensibility and excellent feel. -
MACKAY, DUNCAN (see also: Camel / Cockney Rebel) - DUNCAN MACKAY - Chimera +1 - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Originally released (and recorded) only in South Africa, a great progressive album from 1974 and at the same time the solo debut of the keyboardist, originally from Great Britain, known in later years from records by Camel, Cockney Rebel, Kate Bush (the first three) and Budgie, among others. The album, once released by Vertigo (and now worth about 200 euros), combined the style of Refugee, Morgan and early Wakeman. Three long compositions based on all sorts of keyboard sounds (with a rhythm section, of course) and fortunately without tedious longueurs. This is top-shelf art rock! After arriving in Great Britain Mackay played on records by artists such as Baker Gurvitz Army, Colosseum II, Cockney Rebel, Kate Bush, Camel, Budgie and the Alan Parsons Project. Digipak edition, with an additional 7-minute, previously unreleased track! Highly recommended! (JL) -

MADDER LAKE - MADDER LAKE – Butterfly Farm +4 - Aztec Music Editionprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The second and last album by the Australian band Madder Lake, considered one of the most interesting representatives of the local progressive rock of the 70s. A remastered Australian edition with 4 bonus tracks. -

MAYPOLE - MAYPOLE - Falling Angels (Unreleased 2nd Album) - US Gear Fab Edition - LAST COPYprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
As I already mentioned in connection with the catalogue record - Maypole's debut album, from 1970, is for me a real rock masterpiece! The CD "Falling Angels", on the other hand, recorded in 1973-1974 and released years later, while not bad, is nothing like the earlier material! Another American group playing fairly light... heavyish rock with occasional synthesisers. (JL) -

A beautifully released box containing 5 classic, heavy-blues-rock records by this excellent American band, led by guitarist Leslie West. The first three albums - Climbing! All the CDs were released in the form of replicas of the original vinyls and slipped into a thick, cardboard box. A must! -
