A classic of Southern rock, which cemented the band's position as one of the most important voices of the genre. The album opens with the iconic "Sweet Home Alabama", which to this day remains one of the most recognisable rock tracks. The rest of the record confirms that the group is not a one-hit band. "Workin’ for MCA" or "The Ballad of Curtis Loew" combine raw, guitar groove with bluesy sensibility and excellent feel.
