LOCOMOTIV GT - London 1973 (+5) - ITA Eastern Time Remastered Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RARE

For the first time in the original cover! This is a very important and at the same time very good album - recorded in 1973 at the Olympic Studios in London and produced by the famous Jimmy Miller (The Rolling Stones, Traffic) - with a guest appearance - attention - by Jack Bruce (on harmonica - on one track)!!! They had something to boast about! The material on this record, released in 1974 by ABC Records (in the States and in the British Isles), is a blend of the second and third albums, that is, the band is still playing nicely, rock-oriented, still progressive, with few horns, but elements of 'funky-swinging' playing had already appeared which had a great influence on the third, Hungarian LP 'Bummm'. In addition three very rare recordings from the East German radio archive and - here is a surprise - two tracks from a Polish vinyl single from 1974 are included - including a rather unexpected cover of Tadeusz Woźniak's "Zegarmistrz światła"! Highly recommended! (JL)
