On CD for the first time! The only album, released in 1973 by Transatlantic, by a British hard rock formation, with the future vocalist of Dirty Tricks! Very nice, fairly heavy, at moments quite progressive, though sometimes laid-back playing with organ. The decidedly progressive and genuinely wonderful track "Shelter", meanwhile, sounds like an unreleased piece by Indian Summer! Recommended! -

The music is dynamic, based on extended improvisations and a strong rhythm section, which at times brings it close to progressive rock. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

This album could just as well be called the second Horse record, as two members of that great band are here (including the vocalist), as well as two old tracks in new versions. "Magical Love" is somewhat gentler, more varied, but still decidedly rock, progressive and in every respect worth recommending! A female vocal appears on half of the recordings. Remastered 2019 Italian reissue. Highly recommended! -

Absolutely top-tier Italian progressive rock! A limited 2019 reissue, in a gatefold sleeve, on green vinyl. -

I always thought that the Sensational Alex Harvey Band was a rather mediocre group! Until the moment when I listened in peace to their least popular (and best) album, the debut released in 1972 - it is excellent! A combination of classic hard-rock with elements of progression and... musical theatre. Recommended, all the more so because the band Tear Gas plays on it! The LP was once released on the Vertigo "swirl". The second album, from 1973, also a successful one (adored in England), is somewhat simpler - closer to the aesthetics of (ambitious) glam-rock. Highly recommended. -

Delicate, often genuinely charming playing - a cross between folk-flavoured Wishbone Ash and the Beatles (or rather Badfinger). Highly recommended! (JL) -

Sindelfingen is a British, progressive formation with a successful album, released privately in 1973, in the vein of the recordings of Yes, Pentangle, early Genesis and Gentle Giant and Caravan garnished with elements of British folk. This remastered CD contains the material from the LP Triangle, released in 1972. And although it is no classic, it is really worth getting to know the work of this band, now almost completely forgotten! Recommended. -

Released in 1973 by the label Phillips, a great debut album by a German progressive duo (drums and organ). The music of Sixty-Nine is dynamic progressive rock, improvised and for the most part instrumental, based on ubiquitous Hammond organ parts and dense drumming, somewhat reminiscent of the output of Deep Purple, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Beggars Opera, The Nice, as well as Attila. All the tracks are very good and superbly played, while the 15-minute "Paradise Lost", full of changes of tempo and mood, deserves special mention. Fans of the genre will be delighted. Highly recommended!
