SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND - Framed / Next (2CD) - UK Remastered - LISTEN

I always thought that the Sensational Alex Harvey Band was a rather mediocre group! Until the moment when I listened in peace to their least popular (and best) album, the debut released in 1972 - it is excellent! A combination of classic hard-rock with elements of progression and... musical theatre. Recommended, all the more so because the band Tear Gas plays on it! The LP was once released on the Vertigo "swirl". The second album, from 1973, also a successful one (adored in England), is somewhat simpler - closer to the aesthetics of (ambitious) glam-rock. Highly recommended.
