This is an almost ideal, European replica of the original Italian edition from the label Ricordi in a gatefold sleeve. In my opinion this title, released in spring 1973, is the best progressive album ever recorded in Italy! Full stop. The music of Museo Rosenbach is a combination of the style of Jethro Tull, King Crimson, P.F.M. and Deep Purple with more than a pinch of Italian classical music. The 20-minute title suite simply overwhelms with its rich melodies, numerous changes of mood, inventive construction and the powerful sound of the instrumental parts (organ, piano, mellotron, guitars) - at moments close to the style of juicy, heavy rock. The remaining 3 tracks are practically in no way inferior to it. It is hardly surprising that vinyl collectors pay as much as 4000 euros for perfect, original Italian copies, though on the other hand the sum of 300 euros sometimes paid for the limited Sony reissue from six years ago is already a considerable exaggeration... A great advantage of this release is the very good sound quality - certainly better than the Sony version, as it is almost as good as the original (I own it, so I know)! In my opinion, this title, released in spring 1973, is the best progressive album ever recorded in Italy! Full stop. A limited, excellent album containing nearly 60 minutes of top live hard rock playing from the BBC radio archives - in perfect sound quality! This is early Nazareth - still hungry, still strongly bluesy, already heavy and not sparing themselves on stage. All the recordings were made before the release of the breakthrough LP of their career, "Razamanaz" - mainly in January 1973, and also in July 1972. The band played several covers, including a very heavy "Goin' Down", as well as excellent, greatly extended covers of Tim Rose's "Morning Dew" and a nearly 10-minute, strongly jamming and very intense "Black Hearted Woman" from The Allman Brothers Band's debut! Besides this the record contains two more compositions never released on records: "Ruby Baby" and "Paper Sun". A beautiful, laminated sleeve and great sound remastered from the original, ultra-rare, promotional BBC Transcription Service discs from over 50 years ago! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW, UNSEALED. Released in 1973, the third album in their discography (a double on vinyl), for many listeners the best in the band's career - it contains juicy, rocking, at times slightly bluesy playing in the vein of the then work of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and, of course, the many powerful-sounding German bands of that period - recorded "live" in the studio. Heavy, progressive playing was rarely better! Remastered 2022 reissue, with an additional CD containing tracks recorded in the same studio, but on different dates (six on 12 October 1972, and two on 19 February 1973). A must! (JL) -

An anniversary edition of the fourth studio album by the British band, containing a conceptual, 40-minute suite in the vein of Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Eloy. The first CD contains "Remember The Future" remastered in 2023 with an additional live track, the second a stereo remix and two single bonus tracks, and the third and fourth a previously unreleased recording of a performance on 28 January 1974 at the Stadthalle in Münster, Germany. The Blu-ray contains a refreshed quadraphonic mix from 1973, a promotional clip and two live tracks recorded for the BBC programme "Old Grey Whistle Test". Released in Germany by Green Tree Records (the label responsible for the reissues of four CBS records from 1972-1974), unreleased, very good-sounding 40-minute material, recorded by the band Niemen (Czesław + the entire future SBB) at a concert in Helsinki in June 1973. Very good and noise-free sound (greatly improved compared with the somewhat muddy version known from the film footage). In addition, two fragments, lasting ten minutes in total, from the 'Olympic' concert in Munich in August 1972: "Puppets (Marionetki)" and the very short "Figo-Fago" (that is, the classic blues standard "Rollin' And Tumblin' " known from Cream's performance, among others). A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. -

The English-language debut released by German Bellaphon in 1973 (reissued in 2022 by the German MIG: Made In Germany) and made up of compositions earlier released on 'Elo Omega' and '5', including the brilliant 'After A Hard Year' and 'White Magic Stone'. The record opened the way to the West European market for the band. The musicians successfully combined the melodiousness and hard rock dynamics characteristic of earlier records with a more mature, more progressive sound, enriched with Hammond organ, mellotron and Moog synthesisers.
