This album, released in 1971 by Sonet Records (on double vinyl), is the best progressive TITLE from Norway, and also belongs in the TOP 5 of Scandinavian classic rock! Attention! This CD, of over an hour, contains superb, cool (but romantic) and very precise playing (with Hammond and occasional flute) typical of groups from Scandinavia and Germany (such as Aunt Mary, Murphy Blend or Out Of Focus). The last part of the record is filled by the 26-minute title suite! Excellent sound quality! A curiosity: the label did not want to agree to produce an expensive, two-disc album by an unknown group, so the band paid for the pressing of... the second vinyl and as a result had to pay extra for the 'business'. Hence the original, vinyl edition (worth nearly 1000 euros in great condition) contains one rather heavy vinyl and one very thin one... AN ABSOLUTE MUST! -

A European edition of the sole album, released in January 1971, by an Australian quartet and one of the 4-5 best rock albums from the land of the kangaroos! The band referred to the tradition of the 'power trio' in the style of Cream (the vocalist sounds almost identical to Jack Bruce), but instead of copying - they played their own thing - progressively, very melodically and at the same time with great dynamics. There is not a single average track on this excellent album! Two musicians had previously played in the sensational Tamam Shud, while the bassist was Bob Daisley, known from the records of Chicken Shack, Rainbow, Uriah Heep and Ozzy Osbourne! This is such good playing that it is hard to believe! The sole album by Kahvas Jute is among the greatest Australian rarities and in great condition easily fetches 1000 euros! In addition, four superb tracks from a 2005 concert (they sound like old ones) and two unreleased old numbers from TV. Note! This version, sonically, knocks all the earlier editions flat - including the Australian (slightly overdriven and rather hissy) expensive Aztec Music CD. An absolute must! -

The deluxe version of the excellent, only album by the former vocalist of The Action. Musicians from Mighty Baby and B.B. Blunder (that is ex-Blossom Toes) took part in the recordings. The record contains a mixture of everything that was good at the turn of the 60s and 70s, that is acoustic ballads and heavy rock, up to slightly twisted, progressive improvisations. The first CD of this edition contains a newly mastered version of the album itself, in line with the original track list released on United Artists vinyl, including the over eight-minute version of "Savannah", which had never before been released on CD. Plus two single tracks. CD2 is demo recordings from 1969, where King is supported by his former colleagues from The Action, and CD3 contains early and alternative versions of the album's tracks. The whole thing comes in a gatefold digipak, with a 20-page booklet inside. Highly recommended! (JL) -

Remastered and expanded British edition! I love this record! A decidedly progressive album - perhaps at times a little difficult, but rewarding your patience after just a few listens! Brown, characterised by an incredible, diabolical voice, created with the band something like a (sometimes very) twisted suite - with plenty of juicy, progressive playing (guitars, organ) in the style of old Arthur Brown, King Crimson, rock Zappa, Nicholas Greenwood and early Atomic Rooster - and that is surely a good recommendation. Recently the CD Kingdom Come - Kingdom Come (1972) was also released. One more thing: in two tracks there is unconventional editing, so it may seem that the CD is faulty, but that is how Brown devised it and how it was recorded - also on the old vinyl! An absolute must! -

A DOUBLE, limited to 500 copies, European, great-sounding (mixing desk), 150-minute album containing a selection of the best recordings from the legendary North American tour the band undertook at the turn of August and September 1971 - two months before the release of "Led Zeppelin IV". The basis of this release is 95 minutes from the sensational concert in Orlando, Florida, to which four missing recordings from Toronto (also soundboard) have been added, and at the end a few rarities, including a rather unique version of "Weekend" from the repertoire of Eddie Cochran and "Walk Don't Run" by The Ventures. The CDs contain all the compositions played on the month-long tour! To sum up - there are no better-sounding Zeps from 1971 (perhaps except for the BBC from 1971), but here the band simply sounded brilliant. Besides, Robert Plant never sang so well again (as a result of some infection in September 1971 his voice changed/worsened)... In my opinion it is better material than the excellent, official "How The West Was Won"... The discs sound 10% better (more treble) than the material available on YouTube. A must! (JL) -

The basis of this release is 80 minutes from the sensational concert in Orlando, Florida (2/3 of the concert from the mixing desk), to which the missing recordings from Toronto (also soundboard) have been added, and at the end a rather unique version of "Weekend" from the repertoire of Eddie Cochran has been included. To sum up - there are no better-sounding Zeps from 1971 (perhaps except for the BBC), but here the band simply sounded brilliant.
