BLUE CHEER (see also: Randy Holden / Kak / Mint Tattoo) - BLUE CHEER - New! Improved! - FRA Absinthe Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, very good-sounding (much better than most of the old versions) edition of the great third album, released in March 1969, by the cult American heavy rock band. This album is important in that while the first part of the record is very nice, almost Quicksilver-like, the whole second side, recorded still as a trio, was composed (and played) by the brilliant guitarist Randy Holden - known to die-hard fans of Sabbath/Hendrix-style guitar playing from the excellent LP "Population II" (1970)! I confess this is my favourite Blue Cheer album, and Holden's two longer tracks, lasting 14 minutes together, are almost the world championship of slightly bluesy, psychedelic playing! Highly recommended! New, sealed. (JL) -

BOBAK JONS MALONE (see also: Orange Bicycle) - BOBAK, JONS, MALONE - Motherlight - UK Morgan Blue Town Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Released in early 1969, a superb, at times quite wild (though usually melodic) British psychedelic LP inspired by The Beatles and Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett. Bobak, Jons, Malone are a trio of three producers/sound engineers working at the London studio of the Morgan Blue Town record label. At the same time as this album, an equally unpopular LP by the band Pussy was released! The original "Motherlight" vinyl is worth nearly 2000 pounds! 2017 reissue. A MUST! (JL) -

At the same time as this album, an equally unpopular LP by the band Pussy appeared! The original "Motherlight" vinyl is worth nearly 2000 pounds! 2014 reissue on black vinyl. A MUST! (JL) -

BOKAJ RETSIEM - BOKAJ RETSIEM - Psychedelic Underground - EU Future Shock BLUE VINYL Limited 180g Press - LISTEN - LAST COPYprice: 180,00 PLN / 45,00 EUR
A revelation! This German record knocked me and many of my friends off our feet. Behind this strange name hides one Rainer Denger alias Meister Jakob - a former member of the band German Bonds. Accompanied by unknown German musicians he created an incredible album, combining the moods of the work of Hendrix, Iron Butterfly and the debut of Deep Purple (overdriven guitars, pulsating organ) - with acoustic guitars, psychedelic sound effects and references to all kinds of musical genres appearing out of the blue. The result is simple but totally surreal, narcotic music that is hard to tear yourself away from! A MUST! A 2021 reissue, no longer in production, limited to 500 copies, on light blue vinyl. (JL) -
