SAVATAGE - SAVATAGE - Sirens / Dungeons Are Calling - GER Ear Music Remastered Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
In my opinion this is one of the twenty best titles in the history of American metal! The brilliant debut album (released privately in 1983 and reissued only a few months later by British Music For Nations) unquestionably belongs to the strictest canon of American traditional metal, alongside the early records of Riot, Anvil, Cirith Ungol, the Helstar debut, and so on. In addition, the mini-album "Dungeons Are Calling" (1984) is included, containing six great tracks from the SAME SESSION as the LP "Sirens"! As a bonus, an acoustic version of the track "In The Dream", made in 2010, has been added. A MUST! (JL) -

SEEDS - SEEDS - A Web Of Sound (2CD) - UK Big Beat Mono & Stereo Expanded Deluxe Edition - LISTENprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Beautifully presented, remastered edition of a superb American garage classic! Sensational playing in the vein of the cult compilations of the "Nuggets" series - that is, in the style of early Stones, Pretty Things and the American Chocolate Watch Band and Standells. This two-disc, British release contains the original mono and stereo mix and in addition plenty of bonus tracks, including the full version (in mono!) of the somewhat different, though still very good, fourth album, recorded under a changed name, on which elements of blues appeared. All the Seeds titles are rock classics! Every fan of the 60s will simply be delighted! A MUST! (K) -
SEEDS - SEEDS - Future (2CD) - UK Big Beat Mono & Stereo Expanded Deluxe Editionprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
The third studio album by the American band, more pop-psychedelic than its garage predecessors. -
SEEDS - SEEDS / SKY SAXON - Bad Part Of Town - Rare Tracks 1963-1972 - FRA Eva Card Sleeve Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A very interesting release containing, among others, six rare pre-debut tracks (still decidedly beat), recorded as Sky Saxon And The Soul Rockers and Sky Saxon And The Electra Fires, in 1963-64. The rest of the CD is filled with seven, by now decidedly heavier tracks, at moments striking the listener with almost hard rock energy, made after the last record. As a bonus, four live recordings from 1969 are also included - of good, but unfortunately not perfect, quality. Definitely recommended! (K) -

Reissue of the classic, sixth album, containing, among others, the famous "Rosalie" - later known from the Thin Lizzy cover - and "Turn The Page" - popularised by Metallica! In addition the CD contains new versions of "Midnight Rider" by the Allman Brothers Band and "Stealer" by Free. Additionally four tracks from garage singles from 1966-67. Argentine edition in a digipak. -
SEGER, BOB -SYSTEM- - BOB SEGER SYSTEM - Mongrel - ARG Lost Diamonds Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A great, third album by the cult American band. In the States it is an absolute rock classic! Released in 1970, the album was a return to high form, after the somewhat uneven LP "Noah". Juicy, rock, guitar-driven playing with organ and a raspy voice - from distinctive, riffing (sometimes bluesy) rock, through a rock or acoustic ballad, right up to an excellent, improvised, live version of "River Deep Mountain High". An Argentine edition in a digipak. Recommended! -
SEGER, BOB -SYSTEM- - BOB SEGER SYSTEM - Noah +4 - ARG Lost Diamonds Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Reissue of the second album by a legend of (70s) American rock and at the same time a cult figure thanks to the first albums under the banner Bob Seger System. Whoever likes the debut LP "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" (1969) will like the 'second' too, although it is somewhat less psychedelic and more concise. On the other hand I slightly miss extended instrumental parts here, although "Death Row" is a guitar killer! Additionally four very rare tracks (1966-67) from garage singles! Recommended! -
SEGER, BOB -SYSTEM- - BOB SEGER SYSTEM - Ramblin' Gamblin' Man +10 - NZ Breaking Rock Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The fantastic debut album by The Bob Seger System - a band led by the leader of the Silver Bullet Band, who was very popular in the 70s! But in 1969 the creator of "Rosalie" (from Thin Lizzy's repertoire) offered very attractive, heavy psychedelic rock based on the interplay of overdriven guitar, organ and strong vocals - with elements of classic rhythm'n'blues, garage and the occasional acoustic ballad. The tracks are catchy (the first number was a hit), the playing itself very intense, at times almost trance-like (especially in the second part of the album), the sound juicy and full. This original and relatively little-known (though cult among collectors) album is simply excellent and will appeal to "almost every" lover of late 60s sounds! New Zealand edition in a digipak, enriched with ten live recordings. A must! -
SERPENT POWER - SERPENT POWER - Serpent Power - EU Vanguard Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
An American psychedelic formation, harking back to the style of Country Joe & The Fish. A great, slightly oriental, 13-minute "Endless Tunnel". -
SERPENT POWER - SERPENT POWER - Serpent Power - ITA Akarma Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR

SEVEN - SEVEN - The Song Is Song - The Album Is Album - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
FIRST TIME ON CD! A long-awaited by die-hard fans, great-sounding reissue from the Eclipse label of the only album, released in 1970, by a cult, American jazz-rock band with slightly soul and funk inclinations. Personally I am not fond (to put it delicately) of funk from the late 70s and after..., but early, funky playing circa 1969-1971 is excellent! I have known and owned The Seven's only and completely forgotten record for many years and consider it one of the nicest and most convincing titles inspired by the work of Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago Transit Authority. The musicians of The Seven played with somewhat more ease, but with no less fire and dynamism - especially in the guitar parts! Probably if the LP had come out on, say, CBS/Columbia (rather than the local label Thunderbird), we would be dealing with another jazz-rock star! Highly recommended! (JL) -
SHANTI - SHANTI - Shanti - EU Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The only album by an American band, a combination of the style of the gentle Mahavishnu Orchestra with Quintessence. Recommended! -
SHORT CROSS - SHORT CROSS - Arising - SPA Out-Sider Remastered Press - LISTENprice: 145,00 PLN / 36,25 EUR
A remastered reissue of the only, but very good, album by an American band playing heavy, bluesy rock with Hammonds (and on two tracks even with horns). Importantly, the band did not shy away from neat, rather unexpected, riffing transitions, and the organist's playing truly deserves attention! This album has practically no weak points and will satisfy every lover of sounds in the vein of Alamo, Goodthunder and a ponderous Allman Brothers Band with a pinch of Wishbone Ash and Bloodrock. Highly recommended! (JL) -
SHORT CROSS - SHORT CROSS - Arising - US Gear Fab Edition - OSTATNIE SZTUKIprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The only, but great, album by an American band playing heavy, bluesy rock with Hammond (and on two tracks even with brass). Importantly, the band did not shy away from neat, quite unexpected, riffing transitions, and the organist's playing genuinely deserves attention! This album has practically no weak spots and will satisfy every lover of sounds in the vein of Alamo, Goodthunder and a ponderous Allman Brothers Band with a pinch of Wishbone Ash and Bloodrock. Highly recommended! (JL) -
SILK - SILK - Smooth As Raw Silk - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1969, a great, unfortunately only, album by an American band combining, in a rather unique fashion, somewhat heavy guitar-and-organ sounds with elegantly arranged pop-psychedelia. The guitarist of the group Ford Theatre appeared on several tracks. This rather exceptional record, though requiring a few listens, will appeal to all lovers of the sounds of the late 60s and the records of the Rev-Ola and Fallout labels. Highly recommended! (JL)
