SEEDS / SKY SAXON - Bad Part Of Town - Rare Tracks 1963-1972 - FRA Eva Card Sleeve Edition

A very interesting release containing, among others, six rare pre-debut tracks (still decidedly beat), recorded as Sky Saxon And The Soul Rockers and Sky Saxon And The Electra Fires, in 1963-64. The rest of the CD is filled with seven, by now decidedly heavier tracks, at moments striking the listener with almost hard rock energy, made after the last record. As a bonus, four live recordings from 1969 are also included - of good, but unfortunately not perfect, quality. Definitely recommended! (K)
