LOVE - LOVE - Da Capo - EU Rhino Electra STEREO Pressprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A great second album containing the charming "Stephanie Knows Who", the absolutely brilliant dynamite of "7 And 7 Is" (it's on "Nuggets I") and "Revelation", which takes up the whole second side of the vinyl. A very tastefully released replica of the original. -
LP
LOVE - LOVE - Forever Changes - EU Rhino Elektra Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
A remastered, European reissue of Love's third album, in my opinion one of the five best albums in the history of American rock - containing truly beautiful and moving recordings (a bit like "Again" by Buffalo Springfield combined with "Younger Than Yesterday" by The Byrds and with "In Search Of The Lost Chord" by The Moody Blues); enchanting with refined instrumentation (occasional strings, trumpets, classical guitars), the wonderful, almost angelic vocal of Arthur Lee - and all of this prepared in a delicate, psychedelic sauce. For autumn 1967 it was almost a world record in 'ambitious' playing, and today for me it is one of the 10-15 records of all time! (JL) -
LP

LOVE - LOVE - Forever Changes - EU Elektra Press - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
Love's third album is in my opinion one of the five best albums in the history of American rock - containing genuinely beautiful and moving recordings (a bit like Buffalo Springfield's "Again" combined with The Byrds' "Younger Than Yesterday" and The Moody Blues' "In Search Of The Lost Chord"); charming with its sophisticated instrumentation (occasional strings, trumpets, classical guitars), the wonderful, almost angelic vocal of Arthur Lee - and all this prepared in a delicate, psychedelic sauce. For autumn 1967 it was almost a world record in 'progressive' playing, and today it is for me one of the 10-15 records of all time! (JL) -

LOVE - LOVE - Four Sail - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 155,00 PLN / 38,75 EUR
The fourth album in the discography - at times uncannily reminiscent of the wonderful LP "Forever Changes", though somewhat sharper, especially in the superb opening track "August". Audiophile edition on 180-gram vinyl. Excellent pressing. -

MAJIC SHIP - Majic Ship – Majic Ship - Guerssen Records Editionprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Released in 1970, the only and completely forgotten album by an American band. It is another example of a forgotten gem of the American underground – recorded, but practically unnoticed in its time. It presents raw, heavy playing on the border of psychedelia and hard rock, with a distinct bluesy core. The guitar sound is overdriven, slightly "dirty", at times even garage. There is no studio perfection here, but there is authenticity and energy, something between Blue Cheer and Led Zeppelin in a garage and less polished version. The centrepiece of the album is a great, jamming, 10-minute cover of two combined classics of the day: For What It's Worth (from the Buffalo Springfield repertoire) and Down By The River (Neil Young & The Crazy Horse). -

A classic, blues-rock album from 1968 (in the vein of the recordings of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers of the time), also containing the sensational, painfully psychedelic and as much as 6-minute 'Extraction'. MCCULLY WORKSHOP - MCCULLY WORKSHOP - Inc. - GRE Missing Vinyl Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Greek reissue of the great debut from 1969 by a South African (white) formation playing a combination of late (pop)psychedelia with early progressive rock - with a juicy Hammond sound, nice parts of at times sharpish guitar, the intense playing of the rhythm section and occasional entries of flute and wind instruments. You can hear the influence of The Beatles, the Moody Blues, early Floyd and even Zappa! Juicy production and excellent sound! This is one of the most interesting achievements of this kind recorded outside Europe and America in 1969! The record in fact has no weak points. Highly recommended! New, sealed. -
LP
MECKI MARK MEN - MECKI MARK MEN - Mecki Mark Men +2 - FRA Absinthe Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
An edition limited to 500 copies of the cult debut album, released at the end of 1967, by the legendary Swedish psychedelic band modelled on the early Jimi Hendrix Experience (especially the vocal) and The Doors - with a pinch of The Mothers Of Invention. It is top-shelf dark, psychedelic rock (with distant echoes of rhythm'n'blues) - surprisingly up to date at the time, and even ahead of American or British trends by a few months. In addition, two recordings from a very rare single. Excellent sound and great pressing. The laminated sleeve looks like the Swedish original. Highly recommended! New, sealed. (JL) -
LP
MIGHTY BABY (see also: Action / Habibiyya) - MIGHTY BABY - Mighty Baby - UK Big Beat Press - LISTENprice: 175,00 PLN / 43,75 EUR
An excellent and absolutely classic debut by a legend of the British underground - descended from the group The Action, adored in the British Isles. Made in 1969, the album was a combination of guitar-driven psychedelic rock of the early Quicksilver kind with early raw prog rock of the Quintessence and East Of Eden kind (saxophone, flute, elements of oriental music). Alongside the delicate moods there is plenty of dense, improvised playing here! This album genuinely deserves to be rediscovered! A 2023 reissue. -

MOPS - MOPS - Psychedelic Sounds In Japan - EU Press - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
An absolute classic from Japan - the first psychedelic album from there (released in April 1968) - and on top of that excellent! A combination of pop-psychedelic moods with sharp guitar overdrive. Some may know the track "I Am Just A Mops" - included in 2000 on the box set "Nuggets II". Besides that, the album contained covers of, among others, "Inside Looking Out" and "San Franciscan Nights" (The Animals), "White Rabbit" and "Somebody To Love" (Jefferson Airplane) and "Light My Fire" (The Doors). MOVE (see also: Electric Light Orchestra / Idle Race / Wizzard) - MOVE - BBC Radio Sessions 1967-1970 (2LP) - UK Maida Vale / Verne LIMITED Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A fantastic, excellent-sounding (all the recordings come from tapes or from promotional BBC discs) double compilation of radio sessions made by this British band led by Roy Wood, in 1967-1970. The Move were one of the best and probably most underrated important bands of the second half of the 60s. The band began with ambitious, dynamic pop, then went into heavyish, melodic psychedelia and finally began to play progressive, rather heavy rock. On the last four tracks Jeff Lynne appeared, and a year later with Wood they turned the band into Electric Light Orchestra. I stress: for many the album may be just another "compilation", but this is something completely different! There are plenty of unreleased compositions here - especially superb covers of other artists' recordings. Most versions of The Move's recordings, meanwhile, are better and more dynamic than their studio counterparts! One of the best reissues of recent years! An absolute MUST! NEW, SEALED. -
