This is an almost ideal, European replica of the original Italian edition from the label Ricordi in a gatefold sleeve. In my opinion this title, released in spring 1973, is the best progressive album ever recorded in Italy! Full stop. The music of Museo Rosenbach is a combination of the style of Jethro Tull, King Crimson, P.F.M. and Deep Purple with more than a pinch of Italian classical music. The 20-minute title suite simply overwhelms with its rich melodies, numerous changes of mood, inventive construction and the powerful sound of the instrumental parts (organ, piano, mellotron, guitars) - at moments close to the style of juicy, heavy rock. The remaining 3 tracks are practically in no way inferior to it. It is hardly surprising that vinyl collectors pay as much as 4000 euros for perfect, original Italian copies, though on the other hand the sum of 300 euros sometimes paid for the limited Sony reissue from six years ago is already a considerable exaggeration... A great advantage of this release is the very good sound quality - certainly better than the Sony version, as it is almost as good as the original (I own it, so I know)! Limited to 500 copies, a beautifully produced LP (in a laminated sleeve) containing material not previously released on vinyl, recorded live in Stockholm for Swedish radio in December 1967 - a week before the release of the band's excellent debut record. In my opinion it is the best material by The Nice that I have heard in my life - a combination of Pink Floyd (with Syd Barrett) with Zappa and The Soft Machine. Excellent, perfect sound quality. The band never recorded several of the compositions on official records ("You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Sombrero Sam"). A MUST! NEW, SEALED. -

A superb, perfectly sounding (the sound comes from the mixing desk), hour-long recording made at the Opole festival in July 1971. Released in a very attractive gatefold sleeve, the vinyl contains only five extended tracks - including two suites: "Bema pamięci żałobny rapsod" and "Człowiek jam niewdzięczny". Czesław was accompanied by the musicians behind the 'Red Album' - with Mikuła and Jaśkiewicz in the leading roles. To tell the truth, it is hard to understand why this wonderful concert never came out in Poland - perhaps because it spent all those years in private hands... A MUST! -

Released in Germany by Green Tree Records (the label responsible for the reissues of four CBS records from 1972-1974), unreleased, very good-sounding 40-minute material, recorded by the band Niemen (Czesław + the entire future SBB) at a concert in Helsinki in June 1973. Very good and noise-free sound (greatly improved compared with the somewhat muddy version known from the film footage). In addition, two fragments, lasting ten minutes in total, from the 'Olympic' concert in Munich in August 1972: "Puppets (Marionetki)" and the very short "Figo-Fago" (that is, the classic blues standard "Rollin' And Tumblin' " known from Cream's performance, among others). A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. -

The record opened the way to the West European market for the band. The musicians successfully combined the melodiousness and hard rock dynamics characteristic of earlier records with a more mature, more progressive sound, enriched with Hammond organ, mellotron and Moog synthesisers.
