NEKTAR - A Tab In The Ocean +4 (2LP) - GRE Missing Vinyl Remastered Expanded Press - LISTEN

The second album in the discography - regarded by most fans as the best of the band's career, although "Journey..." and "Sounds..." are also serious contenders for that title... The first part is filled by an 18-minute suite; the second by five shorter pieces - linked together anyway. The whole closes with "King Of Twilight" - owner of one of the most mighty riffs in the history of rock (once covered with poor results by Iron Maiden). All in all it is a combination of classic progressive rock in the vein of Pink Floyd and Hawkwind, with the guitar fire characteristic of German bands. 2011 remastered Greek edition, with an additional vinyl containing previously unreleased recordings. A MUST! (JL)
