Great-sounding, limited French edition on clear vinyl of the only, but brilliant, album by the heavy-jazz-progressive group led by the former Colosseum guitarist/vocalist James Litherland. Heavy, slightly jazzy moods, great, almost Hendrix-like guitars and incredible bass playing by the then unknown John Wetton! Long, for the most part instrumental tracks very much resembling a somewhat heavier and more rock-oriented Colosseum! Can one ask for more in the case of old prog rock? In addition a track from the A-side of a single is included. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! -

Very tastefully presented Spanish reissue of the only album by an ephemeral, British heavy-progressive formation. Behind the pseudonym Monument hid the heavy rock group Zior (playing in their spare time for quick cash). Released originally in 1971 by the label Beacon, known from the first UFO records, the LP contained classic, largely instrumental, heavy prog rock with dominant Hammond sound - resembling the style of the formation Bram Stoker, and at moments also Rare Bird and Arzachel. Highly recommended! -

An excellent French limited vinyl, gathering superb studio recordings made for BBC radio in 1967-1969, that is, in the period of their most famous albums. Alongside exquisite versions of classics such as "Nights In White Satin", "Tuesday Afternoon" or "Peak Hour", the superb (pop-)psychedelic recordings from 1967 also deserve particular attention, such as "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" (not released on any album), or "Love And Beauty", "Leave This Man Alone" and "Fly Me High", known from singles. One might venture to say that this is the best album by The Moody Blues ever released! Great sound quality, very good pressing and a beautiful, laminated sleeve! A must! A reissue limited to 600 copies of the debut album by a British band with a vocalist (resembling Freddie Mercury in timbre), Tim Staffell - earlier in Smile (pre-Queen) - and with Morgan Fisher - ex-keyboard player of Love Affair and Mott The Hoople. The LP was made in Italy and sounds like it, since art-rock, keyboard moods dominate (no electric guitar), in the style of Refugee, Yes and P.F.M. Only four tracks - including a great, 20-minute suite. Classic, art-rock playing at a high level. New, sealed, no longer in production. Highly recommended! -

An excellent second record by the band. The album contained heavy, at times very heavy, progressive and at the same time catchy playing. In The Move's music there are plenty of changing moods and arrangement delights, so, like every good album, to appreciate it properly you have to listen to it several times. A record that should delight all fans of good old rock! 2023 reissue. -

A superb debut by a French progressive band referring almost directly to the best work of the British Canterbury scene. On the one hand an attractive combination of the style of the earliest work of the Dutch band Supersister with the British Marsupilami - and on the other the early, rockified Soft Machine and the Gong of the time! Very intelligent, though not without a pinch of humour, jazzy (though firmly rooted in rock) playing with the overdriven sound of organ, somewhat twisted electric guitar, saxophone and flute and a scampering rhythm section. A must! New, sealed. -
