Released in 1967, the great, veeery Beatles-like debut album by a British band led by the future leader of Electric Light Orchestra - Jeff Lynne. IVEYS (see also: Badfinger) - IVEYS - Maybe Tomorrow - GER Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The Iveys are none other than the later Badfinger under an earlier name! Their only album (a downright model of ambitious pop with psychedelic touches) was released by Apple - only in Germany, Italy and Japan. Today it is a serious rarity - because of the Beatles connections, but also because of the quality of the music. The last track - "I've Been Waiting" is a psychedelic classic! Highly recommended! -
JESS & JAMES - JESS & JAMES - Jess & James +4 - US Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Third album (from 1969) by a pop-psychedelic formation from Belgium. Four additional tracks. -
LE ORME - ORME - Ad Gloriam - ITA Card Sleeve Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
The debut album by the later heroes of art rock. The record resembles The Beatles of the "Sgt. Pepper" period. I like this record very much and recommend it to all lovers of the second half of the 60s. A 2014 Italian edition, in a gatefold sleeve. (JL) -
LEFT BANKE - LEFT BANKE - Walk Away Renée/Pretty Ballerina - Universal Music Japan Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Released in 1967 by the Smash label, the debut album by this somewhat forgotten though truly excellent New York band took its title from two hits by the group released as singles in 1966 (in the United States they achieved considerable popularity). Both title tracks are beautiful, richly arranged pop-psychedelic and very melodic songs kept in a slightly baroque mood. In fact the other compositions are on an equally high level and will certainly appeal to lovers of the then work of The Zombies, the Beatles, the Lovin' Spoonful and also The Byrds - and that is probably a decent recommendation!!! -
LES SAUTERELLES - LES SAUTERELLES - View To Heaven - AUS Progressive Line Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Second album by the Swiss group, from 1968. -

MAJORITY (MAJORITY ONE) - MAJORITY ONE - Majority One - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A British formation (also recording under the name THE MAJORITY - see the Rev-Ola CD) drawing on the work of The Beatles, early The Moody Blues and above all early Bee Gees. This American CD contains the catalogue album (recorded in 1971 but sounding like 1968-69) and 7 bonus tracks - including Get Back Home (released only in Europe - on the B-side of a single) - an absolute psychedelic killer with a monstrously overdriven guitar! Recommended! (JL) -

MEEK, JOE (see also: Tornados) - JOE MEEK - I Hear A New World. An Outerspace Music Fantasy By Joe Meek (Pioneers Of Electronic Music) (3CD) - UK el Records Remastered Editon - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
A three-disc compilation from 2019. The first CD contains the album created in 1959 by the legendary producer Joe Meek with the group the Blue Men. At the time only an EP with four tracks was released; further releases were prevented by the producer's financial problems, and he died in 1967. Only in 1991 did the RPM label release the whole album, in a refreshed version. Here we find both the 1991 version and the original one from 1960. The remaining discs of the set contain recordings by pioneers of electronic music, including Pierre Boulez, Olivier Messiaen, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Edgard Varese, John Cage and Daphne Oram. -

Digipak edition of an absolute classic from the realm of American psychedelic pop, dating from 1968 and released then by Columbia. This superb, to a large extent downright BRILLIANT material (resembling the recordings of The Zombies, The Beatles and the Beach Boys of the LP "Pet Sounds" period) came about on the initiative of the people responsible for the LP "Sagittarius" (that is, producers Curt Boettcher and Gary Usher). A must! -

An excellent British band playing charming, psychedelic pop, remembered mainly for a very nice, fairly faithful cover of The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows" and the brilliant, delicate "The Wedding Of Ramona Blair", known from the "Rubble" series. The band's first complete anthology, containing all their singles (including those under other names), numerous demos, previously unreleased recordings and BBC sessions. Highly recommended! (JL) -

A debut album from 1968! Fans of progressive rock rather do not like this album, but lovers of psychedelia and early folk-rock will adore this record! After getting through the first, rather tragic, vaudeville track, catchy, somewhat Beatles-like music is revealed, with a nice, processed guitar - in no way inferior to most European productions of the time! 7 bonuses. Highly recommended! -
ORANGE BICYCLE (see also: Motherlight) - ORANGE BICYCLE - Orange Bicycle +7 - US Expanded Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

ORGAN GRINDERS - ORGAN GRINDERS - Out Of The Egg - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Classic, though little-known, American pop-psychedelia released by Mercury at the beginning of 1970 (and not in 1968 - as it says on the record). The band's sound was characterised by the presence of delicately marked wind instruments (saxophone, flute), as a result of which at moments the band came close to the style of early prog-rock. This is not psychedelic, heavy rock, but typical popsike. Lovers of the genre will be delighted! -
