JOE MEEK - I Hear A New World. An Outerspace Music Fantasy By Joe Meek (Pioneers Of Electronic Music) (3CD) - UK el Records Remastered Editon - LISTEN

A three-disc compilation from 2019. The first CD contains the album created in 1959 by the legendary producer Joe Meek with the group the Blue Men. At the time only an EP with four tracks was released; further releases were prevented by the producer's financial problems, and he died in 1967. Only in 1991 did the RPM label release the whole album, in a refreshed version. Here we find both the 1991 version and the original one from 1960. The remaining discs of the set contain recordings by pioneers of electronic music, including Pierre Boulez, Olivier Messiaen, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Edgard Varese, John Cage and Daphne Oram.
