Released by RCA in 1972, the only (unfortunately) album by an American trio playing classic, Zeppelin-like, heavy rock with a very good vocal (Greg Arama of the Amboy Dukes!) and splendid guitar parts by the legendary Dick Wagner (ex-Frost, later Alice Cooper and Lou Reed). On this record, produced by Bob Ezrin (Kiss, Pink Floyd), the band offered fairly extended, at times almost progressive, heavy tracks in the style of the best work of Grand Funk, Cactus, Tucky Buzzard and Highway Robbery. This is the top American shelf of heavy rock! It is worth knowing that Al Kooper made a guest appearance on mellotron on the record! A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

The debut LP "Nador", released in 1970, is simply superb! It has always been one of my favourite records from France! To tell the truth, nobody in France was probably playing heavy guitar rock at the time (with a mighty rhythm section and English vocals) in the vein of Led Zeppelin and The Who mixed with a few ballads. I am not counting the Hendrix-fascinated Chico Magnetic Band, because that was somewhat different playing. In any case this album is a real monster! A three-disc set presenting the birth and early development of American hard rock. Commercially successful bands such as Vanilla Fudge, Steppenwolf, Blue Cheer and Iron Butterfly initiated a new wave of bands whose sound later evolved into heavy metal. A hard-rock discovery! On CD for the first time! I have known this group's name forever; I knew that the only vinyl album was very rare and relatively expensive (for 1974), but I did not suspect that it was THAT GOOD! Well, it is a guitar masterpiece resembling a little the Chicken Shack LP - Imagination Lady (though not as heavy) or the LP by the group Agnes Strange - and on top of that adorned with somewhat Wishbone Ash-like guitar parts! Right afterwards John Verity replaced Russ Ballard in Argent. A pity! Definitely recommended! -

FIRST TIME ON CD! Unbelievable, but this debut album, released in 1973 by London Records, by a Japanese, completely forgotten and unknown (there is only one track of theirs on YouTube...) heavy-progressive band, has never before appeared on CD! Not even in Japan! Singing in their native language, the band harked back to the style of slow, heavy rock in the vein of Too Much and Blues Creation. The second side of the album came from a (superb-sounding) concert. Highly recommended! (JL) -

The record contains hard rock tracks with a strongly Seattle atmosphere. Mike McCready of Pearl Jam guests on two tracks. -
