WILKINSON TRI-CYCLE - Wilkinson Tri-Cycle - EU Eclipse Remastered - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A long-awaited, great-sounding Eclipse reissue (beating the much earlier, out-of-print, British Fallout version) of the only album, released in 1969, by an American band that is cult and prized in collecting circles. The trio played fairly heavy, guitar, at moments very sophisticated and at the same time massive rock, resembling a little a cross between the style of late Cream, the Grand Funk debut and a pinch of the Beatles of the time, with the dense, changing rhythms characteristic of the progressive bands of the period. More advanced listeners may compare this band's music to the records released a little later by Maypole, Felt and Yesterday's Children. To be honest this great album develops (gains power) from the fourth track! Highly recommended! (JL)
