WHO, THE - WHO - Live At The Fillmore East 1968 - SPA Top Gear Expanded Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited, very tastefully presented, fan-club CD containing the legendary performance by the band at New York's Fillmore East, from April 1968. With the previously released LP "The Who Sell Out" to their name, the band, having transformed from a recent mod-garage formation into a thoroughbred quartet playing heavy, improvised, but melodic rock, planned to record and release an official concert. Hence the perfect quality of this hour of material! Of course it is one of the most frequently copied performances in The Who's long career, but this version beats the old editions with slightly better sound quality and corrected (sped up) speed. This CD contains the only known live versions of "Relax" (here in the form of a long, Cream-style improvisation), "Little Billy" - known from the studio only from the LP "Odds And Sodds" - and an unknown cover of Eddie Cochran's "My Way". In addition three tracks (recorded in March 1967 for German Beat-Club) from London's Marquee and little-known, but superb tracks from singles and a British compilation (1968-1969) - in original mixes! Plus several rare, great photos from the period! An absolute must! (JL) -

WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Psychotic Overkill - SPA Guerssen Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Wicked Lady is a great British heavy rock trio which unfortunately received no official recordings in its day. The band's leader was Martin Weaver, guitarist and vocalist, known from Dark's only album! This superbly presented Spanish CD contains recordings made in 1972 and is the second part of all the band's recordings from 1969-1972 (the first came out under the title "Axeman Cometh"). The sound quality is very good although slightly muffled (something like the second T2 album). Highly recommended! (K) 2022 reissue, in a traditional plastic jewel case. -
WICKED LADY (see also: Dark) - WICKED LADY - Axeman Cometh - UK Unreleased Heavy Rock (Vol. 1 - 1969-1972) - SPA Guerssen Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Superb heavy rock material, unreleased in its day, by the cult British trio, whose leader was guitarist and vocalist Martin Weaver - co-responsible for the great LP "Round The Edges" (1972), released in 1972, by the group Dark. Incidentally, this talented musician was remarkably unlucky... Listening to the recordings of Wicked Lady (not to mention Dark) one has to admit that this was very intense, heavy rock blazing (with a slightly garage mood) on a par with the then output of the rock front rank! Who knows how this material would have sounded if some big record label had released it in its day! The CD has a fairly extensive booklet and very good sound quality. ATTENTION! A second Wicked Lady CD, containing only recordings from 1972, came out simultaneously in the same edition. Both records basically form a whole and although we sell them separately I cannot imagine that anyone would be satisfied with only one of them... Definitely recommended! (JL) -
WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the best and most underrated bands of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. An almost perfect combination of hard-rock energy with a slightly folky sound; and above all very tasty guitar parts - close to the style of Wishbone Ash from the period of the LP "Argus". Additionally two live recordings - running to 30 minutes together. A must! -
WILDFIRE (US hard rock) - WILDFIRE - Smokin' - SPA Out-Sider Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A remastered reissue of the only record by the American band playing hard rock with elements of progressive and psychedelic rock. -
WILKINSON TRI-CYCLE - WILKINSON TRI-CYCLE - Wilkinson Tri-Cycle - EU Eclipse Remastered - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A long-awaited, great-sounding Eclipse reissue (beating the much earlier, out-of-print, British Fallout version) of the only album, released in 1969, by an American band that is cult and prized in collecting circles. The trio played fairly heavy, guitar, at moments very sophisticated and at the same time massive rock, resembling a little a cross between the style of late Cream, the Grand Funk debut and a pinch of the Beatles of the time, with the dense, changing rhythms characteristic of the progressive bands of the period. More advanced listeners may compare this band's music to the records released a little later by Maypole, Felt and Yesterday's Children. To be honest this great album develops (gains power) from the fourth track! Highly recommended! (JL) -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live Dates (2CD) - EU Music On CD Editionprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A classic, superb double live album, recorded in 1973 - that is, with the best, classic line-up! -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Argus / BBC Live In Concert (2CD) - Deluxe Editionprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A nice, two-disc edition of the brilliant, third album by the band, containing two tracks from "Live In Memphis" (unfortunately no "Jailbait"!), while the second disc has the long-awaited, superb performance from 1972 - recorded by the BBC and once released under the name "BBC Live In Concert". A must! -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Argus / Live From Memphis - EU Remastered Editionprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR

WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live In New Jersey, January 1974 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in France in a limited run, an unofficial, live, 80-minute recording made in New Jersey in January 1974 for the cult radio programme King Biscuit Flower Hour. These were the last weeks in the band for guitarist Ted Turner and, considering how little live material was recorded with the first line-up, this is a real treat for fans of the band! The setlist is similar to the 2LP "Live Dates" (but the sound quality is even marginally better!), but the band played, among others, "Sometime World" and "Where Were You Tomorrow" - the latter accompanied by two musicians from the Climax Blues Band! As I already mentioned - the sound quality is perfect! Below I have included links to the music, but the quality of this CD is 20% clearer than the average (but still very good-sounding) YouTube transfer. A must! (JL) -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Wishbone Ash - UK BGO Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
Remastered British edition of the brilliant debut album (containing, among others, "Errors Of My Way" and "Phoenix") - sounding miles better than the low-budget CD from MCA. A MUST! (JL) -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live In London 1978 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in France in a limited run, unofficial live material recorded by the BBC in November 1978 at London's Hammersmith Odeon and released then in 100 copies on very rare, radio, collectable BBC Transcription Service vinyl. Please note the rarely performed "Queen Of Torture" from the debut album! "F.U.B.B." - known from "Live Dates II" - not included here, came from the same concert. So we are dealing with an almost catalogue album! Perfect sound quality - as good as, for example, the CD "Live Dates II" and the CD "Live In Tokyo 1978". 60 minutes of music. Modest but tasteful booklet. Highly recommended! -
WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live In Tokyo 1978 (Japan Only 1979 MCA Album) - AU Enigmatic Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
What a surprise! At last, after years of waiting, the excellent live album recorded in November 1978 and released in early 1979 by MCA - only in Japan and unfortunately never reissued - has come out on CD! As for the content, we are dealing with 40 minutes of material that is fantastic in sound and performance, in which 3 classic numbers (F.U.B.B., Blowin Free, Jailbait) are combined with 2 newer titles, such as the catchy You See Red and the undoubtedly classic, 10-minute The Way Of The World. As I already mentioned, the sound is excellent, the band played flawlessly, so it is hardly possible not to own this CD! Highly recommended! -
