NOVEMBER (see also: Saga) - NOVEMBER - 2:a +6 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited, greatly expanded and great-sounding edition of the second album originally released by Swedish Sonet in 1971. For many fans it is the band's peak achievement and one of the most important albums of Scandinavian hard rock of the early 70s. On 'the second one' the band again offered intense, heavy blues-rock with progressive elements and at the same time developed the ideas from the debut. As a result the sound became heavier, more compact and even more guitar-driven. The record contains plenty of extended, expressive solos, and the rhythm section played like a classic, early British power trio. Additionally as much as 27 minutes (6 recordings) of bonus material are included: 2 recordings from rare singles and 4 great-sounding live pieces from 1971, released years later on the CD/LP 'November Live'! Again the Once Again label faithfully reproduced the artwork from the original, gatefold LP - simply absent from the old '2LP on 1CD' edition. A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
NOVEMBER (see also: Saga) - NOVEMBER - En Ny Tid Ar Har +8 - EU Once Again Expanded Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
A new, limited and great-sounding edition of the splendid debut album, originally released by Sonet in 1970, by a Swedish band playing heavy, guitar-driven rock inspired by Cream, Free and Jethro Tull with distinct progressive influences (including occasional flute parts). The record retained a raw character; individual tracks give the impression of having been recorded almost 'live', without excessive studio embellishments. The whole thing was sung in a natural, accessible way in Swedish and sounds very fresh. Great and at the same time very catchy playing! Additionally as much as 33 minutes (8 recordings) of extra material are included: 3 recordings from rare singles, 1 track from the recording session and 4 live pieces from 1970 released years later on the CD/LP 'November Live'! As usual the Once Again label reproduced the artwork from the original LP almost faithfully and also added reproductions of several of the band's early singles. A MUST! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -
NU (see also: Leno) - NU - A Golpe De Latigo - SPA Edition - LISTENprice: 75,00 PLN / 18,75 EUR
Released at the end of 1979, the excellent second album by a Spanish hard-progressive formation inspired by the sound of Jethro Tull ("Benefit" + the 'heavyish' "Heavy Horses"), early Kansas (organ/occasional violin) and British heavy rock. Very catchy, progressive playing with a fairly expressive vocal, heavy guitar riffs and plenty of flute parts. Highly recommended! (JL) -
NU (see also: Leno) - NU - Cuentos de Ayer y de Hoy - SPA Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 65,00 PLN / 16,25 EUR
Released in 1978 (the Spaniards were a little behind), but an excellent debut album by a Spanish group combining heavy rock with typical progressive rock, that is, sharp guitars, electric violin, flute, occasional keyboards, heavily broken, dense drums. Six tracks in the vein of the crazy Italian groups of the mid-70s - this can be listened to in one breath! The original vinyl is worth hundreds of euros, so it is certainly worth investing in the CD - without risk! A must! -

An English band with a single, but excellent album, released in 1971 only in the USA. Slow, heavy, guitar-driven sound very much resembling the work of Mountain and Free, but above all Leaf Hound and Jodo. A remastered edition from the Spanish label Sommor, from 2022. Highly recommended! (JL) -
OSBOURNE, OZZY (see also: Black Sabbath) - OZZY OSBOURNE BLIZZARD OF OZZ - British Tour 1980 (2CD) - EU Supernaut Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
A rare, limited double CD containing unique live material by the first line-up of Ozzy Osbourne's band - democratically named Blizzard Of Ozz at the time. Alongside the former Black Sabbath vocalist the band included the young, sensational guitarist Randy Rhoads (ex-Quiet Riot), the excellent bassist Bob Daisley (ex-Kahvas Jute / Chicken Shack / Rainbow), responsible for most of the music and all the lyrics, and the drummer Lee Kerslake (ex-Uriah Heep). It was this line-up that recorded the first two and without doubt the best albums in Ozzy's solo discography, "Blizzard Of Ozz" and "Diary Of A Madman". Note! On the cover of the second record, Ozzy, at odds with the rhythm section that had just been thrown out of the band, did not give the real line-up... This double CD contains two full, hour-long Blizzard Of Ozz shows (from Taunton and from Chelmsford) recorded from the audience ('audience recordings') in October 1980, during the first British tour - just after the release of the debut. The playing is sensational (Rhoads was simply divine), and the sound quality very good, though not ideal. It is a great pleasure to listen to! In addition, at the end of the first disc three recordings from the great, official live maxi single "Mr. Crowley", from 1980 (known in the States as "Live E.P."), have been placed, but strangely never released on CD! That maxi contained the track "You Said It All", not released on any record, and that is yet another reason to have this great, 140-minute CD! A must for all heavy rock fans! (JL) -

OWEN, RAY -MOON- (see also: Juicy Lucy / Andromeda) - RAY OWEN'S MOON - Moon - AUT Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Reissue of the great, released in 1971 by Polydor, only album by the British heavy rock formation Moon, led by Ray Owen - the vocalist known from the Juicy Lucy debut. The group's line-up included the Methuselah guitarist Les Nicol and Ian McLane - the drummer known from the Andromeda album! The band presented heavy, dynamic and quite intense guitar playing with slight influences of psychedelia and blues. The record has a very nice version of Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile"! Excellent sound quality, though very modest artwork (as on the vinyl). On the other hand the original vinyl sleeve showed nothing more. This is a real treat for lovers of old, heavy playing! Highly recommended! -
