RAY OWEN'S MOON - Moon - AUT Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Reissue of the great, released in 1971 by Polydor, only album by the British heavy rock formation Moon, led by Ray Owen - the vocalist known from the Juicy Lucy debut. The group's line-up included the Methuselah guitarist Les Nicol and Ian McLane - the drummer known from the Andromeda album! The band presented heavy, dynamic and quite intense guitar playing with slight influences of psychedelia and blues. The record has a very nice version of Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile"! Excellent sound quality, though very modest artwork (as on the vinyl). On the other hand the original vinyl sleeve showed nothing more. This is a real treat for lovers of old, heavy playing! Highly recommended!
