For me a stunner! A completely forgotten British band on its only album, from 1969, combined elements of hard-rock, classical music, pop and psychedelia in rather peculiar fashion with... diabolical moods. Such was the (short-lived) fashion at the time! Choirs, short sentences in Latin, church organs, heavy guitar riffs, catchy melodies - at moments the band sounded almost like Black Sabbath (without the great power), The Beatles or the forgotten Arzachel! The group Methuselah sounded somewhat similar (though without the pseudo-diabolical business). The whole thing was produced by Simon Napier-Bell, known among other things for working with The Yardbirds (1966). This is one of my favourite forgotten albums! Note! Unlike, for example, the records of the group Coven, this is not a Satanic album! A MUST!
