YOUNGBLOODS - YOUNGBLOODS - Rock Festival - Live 1970 - US Warner Bros. ('green') 1970 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! Very rare first American pressing (from 1970, on the dark green Warner Bros. label) of a very good live album by a legend of the American psychedelic scene. The band played in the vein of Jefferson Airplane and (more so) the Grateful Dead. Both this album and the slightly more rock-oriented "Ride The Wind", released a year later, were recorded during the same performances. Sleeve: EXCELLENT / Record: MINT- -

YU GRUPA - YU GRUPA - YU Grupa (1st Album) +9 - AUT Enigmatic Remastered & Expanded - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Austrian, remastered, nearly 80-minute edition (in the superb, original cover!) of the excellent debut, released by Jugoton in 1973, by a Yugoslav formation once compared to Black Sabbath, though in truth (and despite the glam image...) closer to the style of Wishbone Ash and Led Zeppelin. Excellent, guitar-driven, rock playing as a trio - with catchy melodies (sometimes brushing against the local folk - super!), a rich, spacious sound and a very good, unpretentious vocal. A little earlier the British branch of CBS had been interested in the band (the group even appeared at the famous London club Marquee!), but in the end the session never took place, though the band bought itself good equipment - which is, by the way, perfectly audible on the record! In addition 8 rare tracks from the first 4 (excellent) singles are included, as well as a live track from the double compilation album 'Boom Pop Fest '73'. A MUST! -
YU GRUPA - YU GRUPA - YU Grupa (1st Album) - Croatia Recordsprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
An excellent debut, originally released by Jugoton in 1973, by a Yugoslav band once compared to Black Sabbath, although in truth (and despite the glam image...) closer to the style of Wishbone Ash and Led Zeppelin. Excellent, guitar-driven rock playing in a trio - with catchy melodies (sometimes brushing against local folk - great!), a rich, spacious sound and a very good, unpretentious vocal. A little earlier the British branch of CBS was interested in the band (the group even played at the famous London Marquee club!), but the session in the end never happened, and instead the band bought itself good equipment - which, incidentally, can be heard excellently on the record! An anniversary, remastered edition, new and sealed. A MUST! -

ZAPPA, FRANK - FRANK ZAPPA - Hot Rats - EU Remastered 180g Press - LISTENprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A brilliant, decidedly the most rock-oriented album in the discography of this sorely missed American artist. All those who "would like to know everything about Zappa but are afraid to ask" should start with this record. This practically instrumental album (except for "Willie The Pimp" with Captain Beefheart) is almost entirely filled with hot guitar improvisations - sometimes assisted by electric violin parts. 2016 edition, in a gatefold sleeve, sealed. A MUST! -

ZOO (French prog) - ZOO - Zoo (1970 US Compilation) - KOR Big Pink Card Sleeve Editionprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
A compilation released in the USA, containing tracks from the first two albums ("Zoo" from 1969 and "I Shall Be Free" from 1970) by the French band. Zoo's music is very dynamic playing based above all on the sound of wind instruments (saxophone, flute), nice Hammond organ parts and quite sharp guitar. Something in the style of Walrus, Hannibal, Colosseum and Chicago Transit Authority. The cover is the same as the one from the debut, which often causes confusion. A South Korean edition in a paper sleeve, from 2020. Highly recommended! (JL) -
