RA'ANAN CHELLED - W bocznej ulicy - Historia muzyki niegranej 1968-1976 (100 zespołów + 4 polskie) - redakcja merytoryczna Jacek Leśniewski - OBEJRZYJ PROGRAM TV

Hardback, 556 pages. A very good book (in a specially designed, attractive cover!) by a young music fan from Israel, who decided to describe 100 of his favourite, little-known artists/bands active in the years 1968-1976, from all over the world (most of them from the States), from the realm of fairly heavy psychedelic and progressive rock with folk and blues touches. In addition, by special order the author described 4 selected titles from Poland! The book contains black-and-white reproductions of most of the record sleeves, as well as concert adverts and rare clippings from the newspapers of the time (somewhat in the manner of the book 'Galactic Ramble'). So this is a perfect item for Megadisc customers, as this is exactly the kind of records we have been promoting and selling since 1991! Megadisc also has a certain stake in the making of this book, as some time ago I undertook the editorial supervision of this unique publication. A must! Happy reading! Jacek Leśniewski. P.S. Below is a link to the 15-minute programme 'CHiP', featuring a conversation between Wojciech Chmielewski and the undersigned, broadcast on TVP3 (there is an advert at the beginning...) on 6 June 2019.
