This unique, limited album of nearly an hour contains unreleased, unique 'live' recordings by the brilliant (on their first three albums) progressive Scottish band. The first side is filled with three extended classics of the band, recorded live in the studio (with Virginia Scott additionally on mellotron) for the legendary German programme "Beat-Club" (1971). It all sounds perfect - like recordings made by Vertigo, or better! In my opinion the version of "Time Machine" is even better (slightly heavier) than the one from the second album! For those 28 minutes alone you should own this splendid record. The second part is filled with a 30-minute fragment of a performance in Italy on 4 May 1972, recorded from the audience, that is an 8-minute "MacArthur Park" and a stunning, powerful, 20-minute cover of a classic by the psychedelic band Eire Apparent, "Yes I Need Someone". It sounds very good, you can't tear yourself away, though not as good as the tracks from German TV. The album is adorned with a very nice laminated sleeve containing several rare photos of this underrated band. A MUST! Condition: MINT, NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

A rare, limited CD containing an 80-minute recording of a unique and at the same time very good concert by a heavily forgotten British heavy rock band (with only two singles to its name), with the young drummer Cozy Powell and the talented guitarist Dave Ball (later in Procol Harum). In 1973 the trio (with a vocalist added) turned into Bedlam. Big Bertha played classic, very heavy, heavily improvised rock in the vein of Led Zeppelin, Cream and Mountain. Fans of this kind of playing will be delighted! The sound quality is almost ideal - slightly better than on the earlier (double and unavailable for many years) edition of this title. The booklet contains several very rare photos of the band. Highly recommended! (JL) -

The LP begins with the excellent, seven-minute "Il Tempo Della Samina", that is, the title track of the group's second album, recorded in 1975 but not released until years later! The next five tracks are almost entirely the superbly played debut album. Very tastefully presented Italian gatefold LP with an insert as well. A must for all fans of old, progressive playing with Hammond, flute and heavyish guitar! Recommended! -

A limited, two-record, absolutely stunning black vinyl released (like all Verne Records double editions) in a very attractive, single sleeve and containing nearly 115 minutes of material from the tour promoting the band's 10th anniversary and the underrated (and in my opinion very good) LP "Never Say Die" from 1978! Most of the recordings come from a performance in Pittsburgh recorded by American radio, but also from London's Hammersmith (4 tracks) and from Abilene, USA (4 tracks - including a very rare version of "Shock Wave"). The album contains all the compositions performed during that tour, and the last side of the record is filled with repeats of 4 recordings from other performances. Great sound quality! A must! A limited European CD, lasting 76 minutes, containing a concert from Copenhagen from April 1971 (47 minutes). In addition, an excellent 20-minute fragment of a performance from Sheffield, England, from January 1971 (alongside a very early version of the rare "Into The Void" with an early lyric, also containing the only known performance of "After Forever"), as well as an 11-minute "Wicked World" from Copenhagen from December 1970. Unlike several recordings from 1970, there is not a single great-sounding Sabbath concert from 1971, but Copenhagen without doubt sounds the best! The sound quality is really good! Not perfect, but for a 1971 'audience recording' - no complaints! A slightly worse-sounding and somewhat slowed-down version circulates on the internet. This one is much better (more treble) and with corrected speed! Highly recommended! Condition: New, sealed. (JL) -

Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which is a nice, large photo of the band at the show), a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, very good-sounding (mixing desk) and very long (yet very well pressed) 62-minute (!!!) black vinyl, containing the legendary show recorded in April 1974, on the tour promoting the LP "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", at a huge rock festival. What more is there to say... Ozzy was on great form, the band played very precisely and improvised a great deal at the same time - especially in the fantastic "Instrumental Jam" filling almost the whole of the second side of the record. In terms of sound quality it is in the top five BS concerts of the 70s and at the same time an excellent complement to the official album "Live At Last" (from 1973). The record sounds a further 10-15% better (more treble) than the YouTube material attached. A must! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -

The record contains my favourite version of "Snowblind" - with a brilliant closing section with Mellotron! The Lund concert is one of the most famous unofficial titles in the band's career! A must for every fan of the band! Condition: NEW -

Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve, a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, perfect-sounding (mixing desk) and very long (yet flawlessly pressed), 62-minute (!!!) black vinyl, containing a great show, very popular among fans, recorded in August 1980 (with Ronnie James Dio on vocals), in Hartford in the USA, on the tour promoting the LP "Heaven And Hell". It was one of the last shows by the band with Bill Ward, who left 'overnight' two weeks later. Note! A 13-minute version of the track "Heaven And Hell" (not included on this record) appeared officially in 1980 on the B-side of the maxi single "Die Young". A must! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped.
