BLACK SABBATH - Live In Dumfries 1969 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A European CD limited to 500 copies, containing an hour-long concert recorded in a small Scottish club by a later musician of the band Iron Claw. It is the earliest known show by the band, from 16 November 1969 - recorded exactly the day before the band entered the studio to create the debut album! Four tracks from this album ("Let Me Love You", "Early One Morning", "Song For Jim" and "Blue Blooded Men") did not appear on any record, while the classic "Warning" lasts 18 minutes here and contains an instrumental section not included on the studio record! The sound quality is really decent - much better than on YouTube. Not ideal, but for such a historic show by a then completely unknown band - it is hard to expect anything better! The tasteful booklet contains several very nice and very rare photos of the band, from 1969! A must! (JL)
