BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Berlin June 1970 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which are nice, rare, very early photos of the band), a single, EUROPEAN 58-minute vinyl LIMITED TO A MERE 300 COPIES, containing a very early, complete show from Berlin, from June 1970 - recorded two weeks after the end of the sessions for the LP "Paranoid". The sound quality for an 'audience recording' is in my opinion great - coming from a recently found, much better tape than the one from which the earlier CD and LP editions were pressed for years. The record contains, among other things, "Paranoid" with altered (probably forgotten by Ozzy) lyrics, an early version of "War Pigs" with alternative lyrics and an early version of "Black Sabbath" extended by four minutes, with the legendary third verse (withdrawn at the last minute from the debut) about a child watching his mother burning... In addition, previously unreleased, slightly worse (but still good) sounding versions of "Wicked World" and "Fairies Wear Boots". The black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must for fans of old playing! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
LP
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Copenhagen 1971 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which are several nice photos of the band), a single European hour-long vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a concert from Copenhagen, from April 1971 (47 minutes). Among the tracks is an early version of the classic "Into The Void", with the original lyrics. Unlike several recordings from 1970, there is not a single great-sounding Sabbath concert from 1971, but Copenhagen undoubtedly sounds best! The sound quality is really good! Not perfect, but for a 1971 'audience recording' - you cannot complain! A much worse-sounding and very slowed-down version circulates on the internet! This one is much better and with corrected speed! At the end of the record a live, 11-minute "Wicked World" has been added - also from Copenhagen, but from December 1970. The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! Highly recommended! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. (JL) -

BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Lausanne April 1970 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which are nice, rare, very early photos of the band), a single European 54-minute vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a RECENTLY DISCOVERED, very early, complete, 46-minute show from Lausanne in Switzerland, recorded professionally by an employee of a music club. The sound quality is better than very good (with slight distortion here and there...). The record contains, among other things, an early version of "War Pigs" (with the early lyrics), an early version of "Black Sabbath" extended by four minutes (with the legendary third verse) and the superb cover of Eddie Boyd's "Blue Coat Men" that the band played at the time (in the style of very fast, early Ten Years After). In addition, "Paranoid" played live in the studio on British TV and a brilliant version of "Blue Suede Shoes" from German Beat-Club have been included. Both bonus tracks are in perfect quality. The black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! Condition: NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -
CD
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - California Jam 1974 - Live - SPA Top Gear Edition - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Limited, cleaned-up and veeery good-sounding, mixing-desk-sourced 80-minute CD, containing the full, 65-minute performance recorded in April 1974 at the huge festival (known, among other things, for the Deep Purple performance), on the tour promoting the LP "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"! What is there to say... Ozzy was in form, the band played very precisely and improvised a great deal (especially in the fantastic "Instrumental Jam"), and the set of tracks - like a dream! Alongside the two killers from 1970 (Brussels and Montreux), the excellent performance from Asbury Park from 1975 (available on 2CD) and the catalogue "Live At Last" recorded in 1973, I find it hard to recall a better performance from the 70s! Simply in terms of sound quality it is top five! In addition three (unfortunately rather poorly recorded) tracks from this tour are included - including probably the only known performances of "A National Acrobat" and "Changes" - priceless!!! An absolute must! (JL) -
CD
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Dumfries 1969 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A European CD limited to 500 copies, containing an hour-long concert recorded in a small Scottish club by a later musician of the band Iron Claw. It is the earliest known show by the band, from 16 November 1969 - recorded exactly the day before the band entered the studio to create the debut album! Four tracks from this album ("Let Me Love You", "Early One Morning", "Song For Jim" and "Blue Blooded Men") did not appear on any record, while the classic "Warning" lasts 18 minutes here and contains an instrumental section not included on the studio record! The sound quality is really decent - much better than on YouTube. Not ideal, but for such a historic show by a then completely unknown band - it is hard to expect anything better! The tasteful booklet contains several very nice and very rare photos of the band, from 1969! A must! (JL) -

BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Hartford 1980 - SPA Top Gear Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A rare, limited, Spanish 76-minute CD, containing a perfect-sounding (mixing desk) show, very popular among fans, recorded in August 1980 (with Ronnie James Dio on vocals) in Hartford in the USA, on the tour promoting the LP "Heaven And Hell". It was one of the last shows by the band with Bill Ward, who left 'overnight' two weeks later. Several tracks appeared on the long-deleted, double deluxe edition of "Heaven And Hell". The sound quality is almost perfect - 20% better than on YouTube! A MUST! (JL) -
CD
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Lausanne April 1970 - Complete Show - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in an attractive sleeve, limited to 500 copies, a European 80-minute CD containing a very early (recorded two months after the release of the debut), full Black Sabbath performance from Lausanne in Switzerland, professionally recorded by a club employee. The sound quality is great, though not ideal (with slight distortion here and there...). The biggest attraction of this CD is the ONLY KNOWN LIVE INTERPRETATION of the track "Sleeping Village" and a 32-minute version of the legendary "Warning". The disc also contains a superb cover of Eddie Boyd's "Blue Coat Men", played by the band at the time (in the style of very fast, early Ten Years After); an early version of "War Pigs" (with unfinished lyrics) and an early version of "Black Sabbath" extended by four minutes (with the legendary third verse). The quality of the remastered CD is much better than the muffled sound on YouTube. An absolute must! -
CD
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Montreux 1970 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Brilliant, fan-club Spanish CD, containing a 43-minute recording of the fantastic concert that took place in August 1970 at the casino in Montreux - the same one immortalised by Deep Purple in "Smoke On The Water". The band was just about to release the LP "Paranoid", hence, as a result of Ozzy's amnesia, "War Pigs" and "Iron Man" had changed lyrics. The band was in excellent form, and the quality of the sound, taken from the mixing desk, is almost ideal! This is the best-sounding Sabbath performance recorded in 1970-1974 - even slightly clearer than the famous concert from Paris (and in fact from Brussels) from 1970 and the one from March 1973 released on the LP "Live At Last". That is worth appreciating! Besides, the disc contains over 35 minutes of additional material! Four tracks made for the BBC in April 1970 (including the three-minutes-longer than the original "Black Sabbath" - containing an additional, unknown third verse, then "Behind The Wall Of Sleep" with a great, heavy jazz rock ending and "War Pigs" with alternative lyrics - all with corrected speed, that is, slightly sped up), two tracks made in summer 1969 under the name Earth (including the excellent "I'm A Rebel") and finally the phenomenal version of "Blue Suede Shoes" recorded live in the studio by the Beat-Club crew. The CD has been adorned with several very nice photos from the earliest period. A must! (JL) -

Brilliant compilation (now on better, black vinyl) from the French label Verne, released in a superb cover taken from the photo session for the LP "Paranoid" and gathering nearly 60 minutes of rarities from the earliest period of Iommi and co. Released in an (old-style) laminated LP sleeve, it contains two tracks made under the name Earth (including the excellent "I'm A Rebel"), four tracks made for the BBC in April 1970 (with the three-minutes-longer "Black Sabbath" - with an additional, unknown verse (!!!) and a slightly altered "War Pigs" - all with corrected speed, that is, slightly sped up) and finally four tracks recorded live in the studio by Beat-Club (including a phenomenal version of "Blue Suede Shoes"). The whole thing is of very good quality! A MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. -

CD
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - 13 - EU Edition - LISTENprice: 55,00 PLN / 13,75 EUR
The band's nineteenth studio album, recorded with an almost classic line-up (only Bill Ward was missing, replaced by Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave), you simply have to have! It is simply classic Black Sabbath, which I don't think any fan of heavy rock needs to be convinced about. A MUST! (JL) -
LP

The best album in the history of heavy rock - the record that started heavy metal. BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Asbury Park 1975 (2LP) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
OUT OF PRINT! LAST COPY! A limited, double, absolutely stunning black vinyl released (like all the double editions from Verne Records) in a very attractive, single sleeve and containing a 100-minute show recorded in New Jersey (for the famous American radio station King Biscuit Flower Hour) at the start of the tour promoting the LP 'Sabotage'! What more is there to say... Ozzy was in form, the band played very precisely and improvised a great deal (especially in the fantastic, 14-minute "Instrumental Jam"), and the setlist is a dream! This show is fairly widely regarded by fans as the best Black Sabbath concert of their career! Please forget the catalogue "Live At Last" (1973) or "Live Evil" (1982)! Asbury Park blows them out of the water! The sound quality is stunning (a real wall of sound) - the whole was mixed for the radio and it is hard to imagine a better recording of a mid-70s concert... An absolute must! -
LP
BLACK SABBATH - BLACK SABBATH - Live In Brussels 1970 - FRA Verne Limited RED VINYL Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A RED VINYL limited to 500 copies, beautifully released (laminated sleeve with nice, rare photographs of the band) containing what is in my opinion Black Sabbath's best concert of their entire career, since the band played somewhat harder than on the first two records but just as precisely! A classic, 52-minute performance from Brussels at the Theatre 140 on 3 October 1970 - also known from the excellent video and the classic CD "Come To The Sabbath". For years it was believed to be a recording from December 1970 from Paris, but years later it is known 100% that it is Brussels! Almost ideal sound quality - even better than on the aforementioned CD and better than on the earlier version from the Far Out label! An indispensable item for every serious fan of heavy playing! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: NEW, unsealed. -
