MOTORHEAD (Motörhead) - MOTORHEAD - Under The Knife - The Singles And Rare Tracks 1983-1987 - FRA Verne Limited Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
An excellent compilation collecting thirteen rare, mainly (ten) SINGLE recordings from 1983-1987: three with the line-up with Brian Robertson (1983) and ten with the line-up Lemmy/Campbell/Wurzel/Gill. Three new, non-single tracks from 1984 were taken from the rare compilation "No Remorse" (1984). Graphically the record looks very attractive, and the sound is very good! This is a perfect complement to the band's discography! The earlier single recordings appeared on the superb LP "Over The Top - Rare Singles (1977-1982)". New, unsealed. A MUST! (JL) -

MOTORHEAD (Motörhead) - MOTORHEAD - Over The Top - The Singles 1977-1982 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
For the first time on LP! An excellent compilation lasting over 50 minutes, collecting sixteen rare and, most importantly, SINGLE recordings not released on catalogue albums, from 1977-1982, recorded (up to the release of the LP "Iron Fist") by the classic/best line-up of Motorhead: Lemmy / 'Fast' Eddie Clarke / Phil 'Philty' Taylor! Most importantly, the album contains two tracks from the ultra-rare debut single "Leaving Here/White Line Fever", worth 150 euros - released by the Skydog label in early 1977, only in France and Sweden! Neither version has ever appeared among the bonus tracks on any compilations or reissues of the debut LP! Graphically the record looks very attractive, and the sound is very good! This is a perfect complement to the band's classic early discography! A MUST! New, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
MOTORHEAD (Motörhead) - MOTORHEAD - British Tour (March 1981) - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in a run of 500 copies, a limited vinyl, in an attractive sleeve containing several rare photographs of the classic line-up: Lemmy, 'Fast' Eddie Clark and Phil 'Animal' Taylor! This is top-shelf Motorhead, since this 52-minute and perfectly recorded album contains sixteen recordings made in March 1981, during the same three concerts (promoting the album "Ace Of Spades") as the legendary LP "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" - the band's only number 1 on the British charts in its career! Most importantly, the record contains as many as eight compositions that did not appear on 'Hammersmith', while the remaining eight tracks appear in different versions! A piece of mind-blowing classic metal, or rather heavy rock played at a very fast tempo. A must! NEW, but unsealed. -
LP
MOTORHEAD (Motörhead) - MOTORHEAD - Live In Manchester 1983 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which are several rare photos of the band), a single European, hour-long vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing a perfect-sounding show from the tour promoting the LP "Another Perfect Day". Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor was still on drums, and on guitar (known from Thin Lizzy and Wild Horses) was Brian Robertson! A very nice setlist - almost the whole album "Another Perfect Day" and a few lesser-known tracks from the records "Iron Fist" and "Ace Of Spades". Note! The material appeared earlier on the deluxe CD version of the studio album "APD", but this vinyl sounds 30% better and cleaner! The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -

MOTORHEAD (Motörhead) - MOTORHEAD - Live In Glasgow 1982 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, a Spanish, 80-minute CD containing a great and very good-sounding 65-minute show from the tour promoting the LP "Iron Fist" - recorded just before Eddie Clarke's departure. It is a very good, improved copy of a radio broadcast, so despite certain imperfections the sound is very nice, and the concert itself - exquisite! In addition, five superb recordings from March 1981 have been included (from the short tour from which the LP "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" later came) - including four versions that never appeared on CD, only on the vinyl EP included with the four-disc vinyl box set "The Best Of" from 2000! A must! (JL) -

A beautifully released box containing 5 classic, heavy-blues-rock records by this excellent American band, led by guitarist Leslie West. The first three albums - Climbing! (1970); Nantucket Sleighride (1971) and Flowers Of Evil (1972) - are absolute classics of heavy rock and the live album Twin Peaks (a double on vinyl), recorded in Japan, only confirms what a great band it was! All the CDs were released in the form of replicas of the original vinyls and slipped into a thick, cardboard box. A must! -

MOVE (see also: Electric Light Orchestra / Idle Race / Wizzard) - MOVE - BBC Radio Sessions 1967-1970 (2LP) - UK Maida Vale / Verne LIMITED Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
A fantastic, excellent-sounding (all the recordings come from tapes or from promotional BBC discs) double compilation of radio sessions made by this British band led by Roy Wood, in 1967-1970. The Move were one of the best and probably most underrated important bands of the second half of the 60s. The band began with ambitious, dynamic pop, then went into heavyish, melodic psychedelia and finally began to play progressive, rather heavy rock. On the last four tracks Jeff Lynne appeared, and a year later with Wood they turned the band into Electric Light Orchestra. I stress: for many the album may be just another "compilation", but this is something completely different! There are plenty of unreleased compositions here - especially superb covers of other artists' recordings. Most versions of The Move's recordings, meanwhile, are better and more dynamic than their studio counterparts! One of the best reissues of recent years! An absolute MUST! NEW, SEALED. -

MOVE (see also: Electric Light Orchestra / Idle Race / Wizzard) - MOVE - Move +52 (1st Album + Rare Tracks) (3CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack - LISTENprice: 130,00 PLN / 32,50 EUR
A remastered triple Esoteric edition (in a rigid, laminated box), expanded by two discs, of the great debut album by one of the ten BEST British bands of the late 60s (I am not exaggerating!) and at the same time still very underrated among less initiated listeners! The debut was a mixture of catchy, ambitious pop, psychedelic rock and ballad. The second disc adds a stereo mix unreleased at the time, plenty of bonus tracks from the hit singles and alternative versions. The third (perhaps the best) disc, meanwhile, features sensational sessions made for BBC radio - including many covers from the repertoire of other bands, such as Love or The Byrds! The next two records (Shazam and Looking On - both from 1970) were even better! An absolute must! -

CD
MOVE (see also: Electric Light Orchestra / Idle Race / Wizzard) - MOVE - Looking On +12 (2CD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
A remastered and heavily expanded double Esoteric edition of the excellent third album, released at the end of 1970 (and the first with the new guitarist and composer Jeff Lynne of Idle Race), by one of my most favourite British bands of the late 60s (I am not exaggerating!) and at the same time still very underrated among less initiated listeners! On this very underrated and, all in all, still not widely known record (which has accompanied me constantly for over 25 years) the band offered extended compositions from the realm of genuinely heavy and decidedly progressive rock. Alongside the typical rock instrumentation the band used, among others, cello and violin. A superb rock album full of classical and psychedelic touches - and at the same time beating many popular titles hands down! The once popular Brontosaurus comes from this record - as heavy as its name! In addition, 12 tracks have been added, including excellent recording sessions from the BBC archives! An absolute must! -
